Came to immokalee for work and wanted to get some tacos, basically a roll of the dice with how many Mexican restaurants there are around here. Hit the jack pot here! $3 tacos, with healthy portions of meat. Like mama wants to see you grow up big and strong. Got 3 pollo and 3 al pastor. Best part was the corn tortillas! Thick enough not to fall apart in your hands! Can’t remember the last time I had that. Chicken tacos were better than the pork in my opinion, pork had maybe a tad too much cumin I think it was for my liking, but still that’s nit-picky. Everything was delicious. Thank you Ivan for taking care of me today man! Tell mama she is the best!

Absolutely delicious food in a simple, welcoming environment. We knew we wanted to stop in Immokalee for lunch after a tour of the Corkscrew Swamp, and after researching the many well-rated options chose Juanita’s. We are so glad we did!

Staff were very friendly and patient with our unfamiliarity with some dishes on the menu. We had the house-made agua de jamaica and split a tlayuda al pastor for lunch; service was prompt, portions were huge, and we enjoyed relaxing in the laid-back cafeteria setting.

We rounded out the order with two tortas de bistec to take for dinner. Freshly baked rolls were stuffed with steak, all the fixings, and were securely packaged with a side of homemade salsa verde for the trip home. They were so huge we ended up saving one for lunch the next day.

We ended up paying about $50 pre-tip for two lunches & a dinner, an immense value. We will definitely make the trip out next time we’re in the Fort Myers area!

Stopped in for an early lunch.
Food was delicious and the service was great! Ordered the steak and pastor tacos along with a steak godita. They didn’t have many hot sauce options but the waiter was very nice and there was also free chips and salsa.
They accept credit/debit if you don’t have cash. There was also plenty of seating as well.
Menudo is available all week not just on Saturday and Sunday I will return to try it along with an agua fresca de tamarindo!

Menudo was decent better then most but not as good as home 7/10

Gordita was ok 7/10 meat was slightly overcooked and a bit salty

Barbacoa 6/10 a bit dry and flavorless

Salsa had decent flavor but not spicy 6/10

Hamburger 6/10 – fries were good 8/10

Tacos de tripa were really good 9/10 hard to find good tripa tacos that are soft inside and crunchy outside .

Carne asada plate was ok my wife didn’t really enjoy it but hard to replicate food made at home

Holchata water was ok 7/10 a bit watery

Service was good , atmosphere felt authentic .

Would be back for the trips tacos and maybe the menudo everything else was lackluster

We arrived late enough we had to get take out and they were very apologetic about that, but we did and I’m very glad we did. We got the fajita mix and the Caldo de Res. The fajitas were very tasty with a good mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken and all the toppings. The beef soup was amazing, with huge chunks of beef, plenty of cabbage, carrots, squash, and corn and a lovely side of coconut lime rice, cilantro, onions, and chopped chillies. The broth was rich with flavor and perfectly seasoned and even after a trip across town was super hot still. A very comforting meal.

Authentic Mexican food! 10/10. Even though I didn’t like the mole, I think that is an acquired taste but everything was amazing. I drove out my way just to come here. There were some things I didn’t like how the locals stared at us, that was super weird. But I’ve there before so no big deal. And how the staff is a little socially awkward lol but they’re nice ppl…also not a big deal.
