First vist. The restaurant was very clean and the place smelled good. The tamales were very tasty and the white queso was excellent. Welcoming the staff were all friendly and welcoming and took care of us. We will be back.

I ordered a Chimichanga but got fajitas. The catsup for my grandkids fries literally exploded when my daughter opened the bottle. The shrimp in my daughter order were so fishy tasting she couldn’t eat her food. Over all a bad experience. The staff was really friendly though.

It was a slow start, not because of service, but because the chips and salsa were not initially impressive.
House salsa is below average and the chips came out stale. However, the spicy salsa came out warm. A little kick and a nice woody flavor to it. A new basket of chips arrived and all was balanced in the universe. They were fresh.
I ordered the mocajete bowl. Usually an impressively presented meal and it DID NOT DISSAPOINT! More than enough food. Tons of grilled onions! Highly recommend it.
The service was amazing. 8x my water was refilled and it was never empty. They were consistently checking on me.

Hands down the best Mexican Restaurant in the Shawnee Tecumseh area. Great tasting food, very affordable, friendly staff, plus their queso is awesome. Its a white queso that is not watered down and is thick and deliciously. Plus their chips are fresh and good to accompany the dip. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing. Regular queso is really good but I like a kick so we ordered the habenero queso and oh my lord it for sure has a kick. Not for the weak but Amazing. I got the chimi and my husband got enchiladas and both were amazing. The sopapillas were super fluffy and warm. Definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant.
