I currently live in Montana and every time someone travels to Utah I ask them to bring me pupusas. I have also had a specific flavor in mind from my memories..I finally found the spot for the best pupusas and Horchata. The service was wonderful and the pupusas are the absolute best along with the curtido, most places lack flavor but not here. Juanita’s will be my definite go to place next time in town..

My brother in law is Salvadorean and he’s very picky with Salvadorean food. I was craving pupusas and he recommended this place and Im glad he did!
They do not have any lunch specials or anything just their regular menu.
I ordered 3 bean and cheese pupusas to go. They come with all the fixings.
They were large and packed with flavor very very good.
They have a large dine in area so they will habe enough room for your party.
Place is pretty clean as well:

I was craving Salvadorian food; the food is really good and does taste authentic. Their aguas frescas from El Salvador are also delicious. We got the fried plantain, and they do use plantains, not like other places that use fried bananas. The place itself looks ok, but the food and service are good!

Great pupusas! One of the few places I can find that serves the rice flour ones. Absolutely delicious. Workers are very kind. Small place and the furniture is dated, but their food is delicious and made fresh. Regular pupusas run about $4 and $5 for the rice.

Simply great pupusas. I’ve tried several places in Utah to find good ones, and these are the top of what I have found in Salt Lake. They have both corn and rice flower so options are great for people who are gluten free.
I also have to shout out the passion fruit juice. It has great flavor and is very refreshing. Every time I have gone here has been great!

Visited for brunch. Never had Salvadorian food, so this was the first time. A little bit different experience than I’m used to in Salt Lake City. Not as friendly, but that may be a cultural thing. Also Spanish appeared to be the primary language, and my wife and I were the only primary English speaker there.

I love pupusas. The pupusas here were good, however, I’ve had better at different local restaurants which is why I’m giving this 4 stars. If I didn’t have anything else to compare against, that may have swayed me to 5 stars.
The service was okay, not bad but not great. The horchata was expensive and came out in a small glass without a refill. So, that sucked.
I ordered the revuelta and loroco pupusas. Again, they were good but I was left wanting something more with the taste.
