Juanita & Maude delivered an unforgettable dining experience for my boyfriend’s birthday! The spicy tuna tartare was a burst of flavors, and the house-made radiatore pasta was rich and comforting. But the real star was the chili-glazed crispy smoked spareribs & rice – mouthwatering and perfectly cooked. The ambiance was cozy, and the service impeccable. A celebration to remember! Highly recommended!

We haven’t been inspired by the menus in the first couple of years but the current menu looked great so we decided that it was finally time to give it a try. The meal was thoroughly enjoyable and we also liked the new outdoor dining area. Good cocktails though I wished for a little more variety. The desserts were fantastic. Went there for a birthday dinner. The outside area is setup very well for dining, the staff courteous and considerate. Felt very safe dining out because of their actions. Now onto the food – wow! The fried chicken was very tasty with a great seasoned batter but the steak was cooked amazingly well. Do not miss the churros on the dessert menu and they have a good selection of specialized beers so make sure to try as well.

This is a super restaurant. The food is terrific, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is great. We had the pate, which was perfect, and the burger, which was possibly the best I’ve had. The cocktails are very creative–try something different! And definitely try Juanita and Maude.

Wonderful neighborhood spot with warm service where they remember you from one visit to the next. Delicious comfort food that negates any need to cross the bridge to SF. Lovely outdoor, yet enclosed (i.e., not chilly) back deck. Great wines by the glass. Talented chef and dessert chef. And gorgeous fresh flowers in the bathroom!

Oh what a Beautiful Dining Experience. An alluring Zen space. The staff Warm and knowledgeable about the food being served. The Flavors, exceptionally tasty. The chef definitely understands the palette. And executes spectacularly. Their take on German Chocolate Cake will knock your socks off. I’ll be back, for sure.
