CAUTION: I spit out a METAL WIRE from a brush they used to clean the grill.. I let her know how dangerous it is to use those brushes and she apologized, brought us a cookie and followed up with an appropriate comment that wasn’t appropriate. Save you’re money

Ordered grilled chicken nachos, they were ok. Very dry. Might go back and try something else. I ordered online and my order wasn’t even prepped when I arrived. I don’t think they check online orders or something. Might have to call and make sure they received your order so it’s ready for pick up .

Juanillo’s Mexican Grill is just what this location has been waiting for, probably since the 1970’s. There hasn’t been a really good restaurant there since then. Most of which didn’t even warrant a second visit. Yet, I’ve been to Juanillo’s three times in the first week. And I plan to be a Regular. I’m currently working my way through the menu.
Three days a week, they offer daily specials at discounted prices. Torta Mondays, Taco Tuesdays and a 3 Taco plate (with rice & beans) on Wednesday. They also serve breakfast (all day), burgers, salads and seafood. And Menudo & Pozole is served everyday. Plus most orders come with fresh, warm, perfectly seasoned tortilla chips. And yes, those come from their handmade tortillas, made fresh daily. So meet me at Juanillo’s. I’ll be the guy sitting in the corner, stuffing his face and smiling.

sweet baby jesus this was good. burrito was massive! Little bit of cheese inside. Not stingy on anything. Some of the salsas were kind of watery and a little bland but loved the food so much i didnt even take a sip of my drink. That good. Best taco spot in compton and ive been around. Those spots you cherish probably got worse over time and u never noticed but this place is good!

Great tasting food, great customer service. It’s a mom and pop shop that does deliveries as well so doors may be locked at times if there’s limited staff. Prices are good for the amount of food received

Every table was dirty when I went and there were no customers. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve gotten something different to see what was ACTUALLY good but Every plate I have ordered from here has been very disappointing. From the tortas, tacos, asada fries, and even a simple burger. Bland, overcooked, dry, older lady that works there is really mean. I tried this place a few times because it’s close to home and I really wanted to find something Anything from their menu I liked BUT sadly didn’t. I rather drive up to Atlantic and Compton. Sorry NOT sorry

Before I rate the food. I’ll rate their POS system. It would not take my card and declined me twice. I went to the liquor store on the same lot and used their ATM. PayPal informed me they were getting some encryption error on their end from the restaurant POS system. I let restaurant know but it seemed they didn’t care. I had their carne asada fries. Came with lots of onions, sour cream, guacamole, tomato, and a bit of melted cheese. The amount of cheese provided is not enough for the size of the plate. It needs a bit more cheese overall. It also includes a side of fried tortilla chips. Meat was delicious. Fries were obviously reheated. They were bland, soft and soggy. Make sure to request fresh fries if you’re there in the evening/night. Seemed like they just gave me left over fries.

The staff was nice, but unfortunately, the food wasn’t good at all. I purchased Carne Asada Tacos. The meat portion size was small and didn’t have much flavor.
