This place is a must-visit if you are in Japantown! Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful, the ambiance is great, and the food is solid.
They have a good variety of pizzas, sandwiches, salads and sides. Their Mac n Cheese is phenomenal! While it is a pizza place, their sandwiches are excellent. And get the shishito peppers.
They have a full bar and a great selection of beers on tap and in cans. And their frozen margaritas are amazing on a hot day (just had their watermelon frozen margarita-made with fresh juice and did not disappoint).
There is seating downstairs around the bar with a few TVs to watch games, a large upstairs area with a ton of TVs, an upstairs outside covered patio with 2 TVs and fans, and a downstairs courtyard area. Different vibes in each spot, so it’s great for adults, kids, or a larger group.
All the employees and very friendly and helpful and this has become a community staple.

Grabbed a bite a few weeks ago when we were down the street and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been meaning to come a while ago now after hearing so many great things.
We got the Drunken Jack pizza and the Caesar salad to share. The crust on the pizza was phenomenal! The salad was saucy and lettuce were crunchy. I’m so glad we got a chance to stop by. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

It’s hard to go wrong with places to eat in Japantown, San Jose. Even harder to mess up pizza. But what a delight to know that not only did they get the pizza great, the other aspects—appetizers, ambience, and vibes are also excellent.
What’s more, if you decide you wanted to hang at Jack’s (bar), you can get JTown Pizza delivered there to help wash your drink down.

We love JTown Pizza. It’s locally owned and operated. Jason, being the owner is very personable and made sure we were not only enjoying the food, but ensured we had everything we need. He has created a great staff who enjoy working there, and that shows. The pizza is fantastic and flavorful. The meatball egg rolls will change you life: Whoa! Their beer selection continues to wow me. If you have a chance to enjoy a Bloody Mary, do it! It is by far the best we have ever had.

This is my 2nd time having Jtown pizza, but 1st time dining in. We were a group of 15 and went on a Saturday for lunch after a soccer game. It was difficult to find parking, so we had to park about three blocks away. The place was clean and I loved how their outside area was setup. I did not like the customer service. We were upstairs in the outside patio and workers kept walking by, but never asked if we were OK or needed anything. We needed to go look for stuff we needed on our own like cheese and napkins. The only time they came to talk to us was to complain about one of the children doing something. Other people thought the pizza was good, but I thought the pizza was ok. I tried three different kinds and I wasn’t like omg this is great. I would not go out of my way to get pizza from here

Cool hidden gem in the heart of Japan town in San Jose. The wife and I drove up from Monterey to watch Bill Burr live at the San Jose Civic Center and did a little foodie research on Tik Tok beforehand. So glad we picked this place. They had a great selection of beer. They’ve an extensive selection of pizza, sandwiches and other food. The staff were incredibly friendly. Restrooms and restaurant were clean.
There’s very little indoor seating downstairs, but they have plenty on the magical back patio. There is more indoor seating upstairs, as well as a second, smaller upstairs patio. There are also a few outdoor tables streetside.
Despite it being close to 5pm on a Thursday, we beat the dinner crowd by a few minutes. Prices are about the same as big name, quality competitors. We ordered the Drunken Jack and loved it.
The patio section has patio dishes and a fire pit for colder evenings. Also, you will be buzzed when your pizza is ready for you to pick it up.

I really enjoyed my first visit here, the team were very friendly. Plenty of seating and I grabbed a spot at the bar so as not to take up a table. Plenty of pizza options but not too many to make the decision harder. There was a wide range of craft beer on tap and if you’re into the hard liquor a lot of bottles lined the wall. Soda in the fridge and a free flowing water tap and glasses.
The pizza I ordered tasted delicious and the crispness of the base and dough was exactly how I prefer it.
I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the San Jose area.

This place is hands down the best pizza parlor I’ve ever been to. Whether you call it a joint or a restaurant, one thing’s for sure: their large Godzilla pizza is an absolute winner. Packed with pepperoni, sausage, salami, meatballs, and marinara sauce, it’s a flavor explosion. As someone who never believed in pineapple on pizza, their Drunken Jack pizza has completely changed my mind. I highly recommend trying it. Another great option is the Taylor made combo pizza. However, I must admit that the Jtown street pizza didn’t quite hit the mark for me, and I wouldn’t even offer it to my worst enemy. That’s just my personal opinion though. I made the mistake of trying the vegan cheese option, and it altered the taste in a way that didn’t quite live up to the original. They have an impressive selection of beers, and there’s even a bar downstairs. The seating options are plentiful, with indoor, upstairs, front, and back outdoor areas. The Godzilla artwork adds a unique touch, and they go all out with seasonal decorations. Don’t forget to check out their Jtown pizza shirts available for purchase. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this place for some of the most amazing pizza you’ll ever taste.

Fantastic pizza, appetisers and beers.
A great place for lunch, or beers and food after work.
The pizzas are very good – the Spicy Bamboo pizza is definitely a favourite to share. It’s a little greasy, but tastes amazing.
They have an outside patio area and an upstairs terrace, although both were closed for rework on our most recent visit. There is still plenty of seats inside upstairs and out the front, however.
Will definitely continue to go to Jtown pizza!
