Mike has a welcoming smile that immediately puts you at rest. What a great guy. It is a no nonsense BBQ joint. We totally missed ordering sides but the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were tasty and hit the spot after a day hiking in Zion. Good fortune in his venture in Oderville.

We loved Mr. Mike after meeting him for the first time. We were passing through town on the way back from Belly of the Dragon and are so glad we stopped.
We ordered the ribs (very good), pork sandwich (smoked and the bbq sauce was good) with French fries, coleslaw and potato salad. Mr. Mike even sent home kettle corn with the kids and wanted my son to try the potato salad so he brought him some out. Would definitely come back when visiting Kanab area!

The brisket tasted amazing.. but I got such a tiny portion, only 2 slices and one was 50% fat, that I was still hungry afterwards. The photo shows the portion for the Brisket Plate, and there’s no meat hiding under the fries either. The fries weren’t cooked- hard in the middle so inedible. Felt like a rip off.
Also the dining room is dominated by a fan that’s so loud you can’t hear yourself order.

Great little BBQ spot! The owner is very personable and the service was quick!
The pulled pork was smokey and juicy and delicious! No sauce needed!
The kettle corn was a nice touch as well!
I would stop here again if I get back this way!

Delicious! Some of the best brisket I have ever eaten. I was hoping it would be good and was impressed by how GREAT it was. Will definitely be going back. The menu has a variety of things to choose from with lots of different price points as well. The sides were plentiful and delicious as well. If you get a chance stop by!

I do not recommend this place. I have low food standards to begin with but even I was disappointed with this one. The ribs and fries were way too salty. I asked for mayonnaise and it didn’t taste fresh, I would know since the mayonnaise tasted the same as the expired mayonnaise in my fridge. The bread of the pulled pork sandwich was literally hamburger bun dissolving into the pork and the pork had no flavor, it didn’t even have much sauce on it. It was also served with a side of basically a half an onion, I don’t know who likes that much onion in a burger. The cheese nachos were just soft cold cheese over some nachos. That’s kinda my fault though, I probably should have realized that since I did look at the google review picture of the nachos and they looked just like they tasted, nasty. My only positive was that the owner seemed nice and the meats were tender.

A pleasant surprise in Orderville. I had an Outstanding “chicken plate” meal there. It’s a no frills kind of place but the hospitality shown by the proprietor – Mike – makes it the kind of local place you expect to find in a town like that!!

We were passing through and noticed the BBQ grill. The food was exceptionally tasty and the owner was extremely friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who likes good American BBQ with brisket, ribs and burgers.

Worst meal we all had in a long time. Two of us got nachos and they were the most basic bland crappy nachos I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was dry and tasteless and the cheese was that plastic crap out of a can. The brisket plate was basic with small portions and the fries weren’t cooked. The chicken plate was even worse- it was supposed to be smoked but tasted like it was smoked with campfire wood. Also dry and bland. Worst of all the two guys who got the plates both had terrible stomachaches after. Please never go to this place the reviews make it seem way better than it was. And fyi this food was eaten by 4 starved guys after riding dirt bikes all day with no food. Also overpriced 🙁
