Me & my co-worker ordered delivery while at work. I ordered the Rasta pasta, a patty & she got the Pineapple ginger salmon. I had only two chicken in my whole pasta! Patty was flat & dry as if it set all day & night! The salmon was cold & rice hard! Truly dissatisfying (being were West Indian)

This place is honestly . I had been around Waterbury for a few years never had this place and boi it was good. I had brown stew chicken along with rice and peas and cabbage. $8.50 for a small. Portions great. Thank you I will come back again .

This is some good genuine home style Caribbean food right here. Rasta pasta is fresh made to order and it was delicious. The fried chicken rice and peas are perfect, crispy skin and tasty soft meat. Rice and fluffy and tasteful. You can’t go wrong here!

I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage and I had to try their pineapple ginger chicken and I’ll be honest I wish I had ordered more of this chicken if I knew it would be this good. Seasoning of the food is nice and I’ll definitely be coming back. It was difficult to find a good authentic jamaican spot in waterbury but not any more. Where there is good food I’ll always be returning. Thank you Jstax!

Amazing … Portion was surprisingly healthy opposed to most places, that skimp on the oxtail meat and overcharge (NOT HERE). Rice and veggies we’re cooked to perfection and gravy was superb. Price spent for large oxtail, beef Patty and Kola soda was $26 ($30 total including tip). Will definitely recommend and will be returning ASAP….. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found this new Jamaican spot on Walcott. The place is clean and welcoming. The food is great and the prices are even better. We couldn’t decide on a single protein for our meal so we got the family platter with some extra rice on the side.

1.Great Customer Service and surroundings very clean.
2. Only Jamaican restaurant on Wolcott Rd so convenient if you can’t to Berties or Mikey’s , etc
Cons.
1.Been there 3 times and Food looks good but COMPLETELY lacks flavour.
2. Prices are very high and portions small.

I decided to give this place a try, given the reviews. I just got home and started to dig in- no fried dumpling. The woman (while polite and professional) told me it came with a dumpling. As far as taste- it’s just ok. Basically sauce thrown on top of the food. The chicken is dried out. It tastes old. I’m disappointed.
