Get the fries! Thick cut, nicely seasoned and perfectly fried.
The only J’s left in the Valley. Soft rolls, orange grease and all. Their perogie are deep fried, portions are generous.
If you have a craving for J’s soft cheesesteak sandwich and amazing fries, this is the place to go.

Very nice. This place is the 1 & only J’s in the area. Ran & managed by A Mother & Daughter. The daughter lost her husband of 40 years I believe 2 yrs ago. They kept this place & worked as a team. Now her Mother is by her side helping her to keep the place open

I do not live in the area anymore but Always get steaks for take out when visiting.. Unfortunately, the meat quality in August 2025 did not match past experience. It was tougher and less flavorful, and I really hate to say this after so many years of looking forward to great steaks. Maybe Good meat is getting hard to find and more expensive, or this was a one time fluke, but I would gladly spend more for the higher quality product.

I’ve loved this place since I was a kid. They don’t always make em just right but when they do the cheese is metled on the bun so perfectly. No one else does it the same way.

My dad recommended this place as he had been getting food at the one in Bethlehem since before I was born. Drove 20 minutes from AT to check it out. Fat steak sandwiches and crispy well-seasoned fries at extremely reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back.

I don’t often review unless really good or pretty bad. Cheese steak with onion and fries $15 – very dry. I actually brought it back because they had forgotten the cheese. No biggie. However, I was wrong…the manager dissected the sandwich and said look there’s the cheese…smallest sliver at the bottom. I asked if he could add more but said couldn’t with ruining sandwich. Did nothing to rectify situation just needed to prove he was right. Maybe he was technically correct but on that basis the worst cheesesteak I have had. Restaurant on main make a fresh tasty cheesesteak, unfortunately they were on vacation….cheaper too. Poor, dry cheesesteak, no customer service. By the time I got home and ate it even the fries were cold and soggy. …won’t be back.

Best cheesesteaks in the area! I’ve been eating there since I was a kid, loved it then and even more now! The portions are big, especially the awesome fries, and the steak sandwiches are packed! The staff and owners are really nice people, always a pleasure to order from here.

I’m from NJ so I have very picky with my sub’s and bread. I live right by J’s and finally gave it a chance I got the J’s special the first time and it was out of this world!!! Just went again for my usual turkey sub and still so delicious and they have great fast service!

Good prices for what you’re getting.
Small place, I probably wouldn’t eat in the building, me of a carry out type place. But all the employees other than one woman with light brown hair is nice. That woman needs to change her attitude lol. But the good is always hot. Granted I anyways ask for fresh frys. The one woman told me to microwave them at home.
