We had the pulled pork sandwich and ribs. Sandwich was very good, above average size ( with price a solid value) Ribs were large with a nice slow smoked flavor. Homemade French fries were very tasty, though they could have been a little more done. Creamed corn was very creamy, though I’d prefer a little less creamy. Bbq sauce came in regular and spicy. Large seating area. No alcohol served. Overall grade 4.5.

If you’re looking for good BBQ I highly recommend J & S Smokehouse! We got the ribs, the Dillen Texas burger, cream corn and Mac and cheese and it was all super good! My kids loved the tenders and fries. My husband also fell in love with the pecan pie. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing brisket!! I don’t normally get loaded potato but really wanted to based off of other pictures and reviews. It was SO good! The meat is cooked to perfection. My husband got the Texan Sampler and really enjoyed every bite!
The staff were all so friendly and kept everything clean. We didn’t have to wait very long for our food and it was fresh when it came to the table, didn’t taste reheated at all!
Just a side note: if you use a card there is a 4% service charge, use cash and save!
Definitely stop and give J&S your business! You will leave full and happy 🙂

This place is a hidden gem. Went there with five co-workers and we had everything on the menu except the burger. The people were super friendly. The portions were huge and the food was great. I will be going back and bringing more people. Don’t sleep on this one.

Our waitress Amber was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. You could tell she genuinely cared about making our experience special.
Now, the food… WOW! I had the loaded baked potato, and it was HUGE — piled high with all the toppings, including perfectly seasoned chopped beef. My son’s brisket plate was melt-in-your-mouth tender, while my daughter’s ribs literally fell off the bone. My youngest loved his brisket quesadillas, packed with smoky, savory flavor.
To top it off, we couldn’t resist dessert — a homemade brownie with two scoops of ice cream that was the perfect sweet ending!
The entire atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, with great music playing in the background. They truly made us feel like part of the family. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re looking for incredible BBQ, a welcoming vibe, and a place that feels like home. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything needed more seasoning. The bbq sauce was watery and had a hint of sweetness. The brisket tasted a little old and could’ve used more seasoning. The service was amazing though and our server was very friendly.

Dillen’s Texas Burger was bomb! Has 3 meats, cheese and grilled onions & jalapeños! Brisket was great as well! I added cheese and brisket to my fries and omggg delicious! Definitely a hole in the wall that you have to try! Sweet tea is a definite hit!!

Excellent off the beaten path bbq joint. Very friendly staff, tasty brisket and smoked chicken quarters. The sides are varied and well prepared – beans and rice were a hit, as was potato salad and cole slaw. They have sweets as well, the brownies were on point! Ample seating and clean establishment. Will definitely make this a must stop place.
