Although delicious, he used a microwave to heat up the food. I guess that means it was homemade. Other than that, no complaints.

Pretty good and authentic Jamaican food. The guys are really nice and kind. The beef patty was good and actually a little spicy, we enjoyed it. The curry chicken and the jerk chicken were also good, and the portion was nice and big. I didn’t really like the plantain, it felt really starchy and sour..like if it wasn’t ripe enough. But everything else was pretty good! We also got a slice of banana bread and it was perfect.

Yummy! This is honestly the only word to use. This food is amazing. I was a little nervous to try it. The platter looked different than the photos on the website. But it is amazing. Well worth the drive and money. Tasty and unique. Every bite is better than the last one.

I would come here pretty often and make it my business to get some Curry Goat but I stopped for a while(few years). Came back and ordered Curry Goat with rice and Cabbage. My Fiance’ ordered the same thing but with Oxtails. The prices have gone up a little and the portion sizes have gone down(as far as what you get for meat from what I remember) but that’s what happens when inflation hits and smaller restaurants have to compensate so I understand. Anyway, the meat was flavorful and tender. The rice was good but the cabbage was really bland. The bread you see pictured is pretty dense and fresh when you order. I use it to soak up the gravy that comes with the meat. Overall, we enjoyed our food, but it’ll be a while before we come back. It’s just the price and we don’t always crave this particular cuisine like that. If you are looking for a pretty good jamaican spot on the south end of the springs or north of Fountain then this is it. Take Care.

Ok this place is 110% worth the stop. Amazing chicken and incredible goat. The flavor that is tied into the dishes here is awesome. Even if you are a bit far away it’s totally worth the trip if you are ever in the springs.

Food, good. Service, ok. Read review till the end The portion sizes were good. My mother had the stewed fish, and it was cooked well and well seasoned. I had a combination of the pork and stew chicken, both were seasoned well. The sauces were great on the rice and peas. We also ordered a chicken patty and it was a little dry, they were out of beef. They were actually out of a lot of items so our options were limited. Overall is was an ok experience, but I had one issue that I wanted to mention.

Went here yesterday. Finally a true Jamaican flavor. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed this food so much. It took me 5yrs to find the authentic taste. Had the oxtail dinner and the jerk chicken. My only complaint was there was not enough meat on both dinners. Plenty of cabbage and peas and rice. More meat I would definitely have given 5 stars. Everything being said, give them a try. Flavors are on point. Price wasn’t bad either

Because almost every Jamaican place in the Springs is closed now, we decided to give this place a chance and I am SO glad we did. Their vegan ackee (off menu), curried goat, sweet potato pie, and Johnny cakes are EXCELLENT. Please please please give this place a try!! The staff was helpful and friendly. Even though it’s a 40 minute drive for us it is well worth it and we are happy to have found our new spot.

I have never had Jamaican food before, and since my husband and I are planning to visit Jamaica, I wanted a little taste of it, prior to the future trip.

Coming from NY it’s hard to find good food in Colorado, this is the best jamaican restaurant in Colorado springs and we have tried quite a few. The food was so good we went back a couple minutes later to get some more! The chicken was juicy, tender and everything was seasoned perfectly I would highly recommend this place!!
