A local gem, with fresh fish, fair prices and fast service. We came on a holiday-MLK day. A two man crew, working away providing a quality atmosphere and attention to detail. Food was delicious, portions were just right. My favorite was the coleslaw-definitely homemade. I do wish the fish and chips came with lemons or lemons were provided, nonetheless the tartar sauce was very flavorful. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great experience!

If you want high-quality fish and chips, this is the spot to go. We came in shortly after open, 2 person team and they were cranking out orders every 5 minutes, serving everyone quickly, efficiently, and accurately. The selection isn’t extremely diverse, but they excel at what they offer. Different options of fries or salt and vinegar chips is a nice touch. I’ve been here a few times, and the fish is slightly smaller now than previously, but the quality has improved since last time I was here and it was already very good. I would absolutely come back without hesitation. If you are high maintenance and want to be catered to and served like you’re a princess, this spot might not be for you. If you want delicious food that is served quickly and made with love, you’ll like it here.

Stopped by for lunch while taking a beach trip for my girl’s birthday. There was not very much room for sitting, but overall, it was a great spot to get a bite to eat. We had our order taken quickly and the prices were very reasonable! Our food was served no more than five minutes after we sat down. The fish and chips were very good, as well as the slaw and clam chowder. I would definitely return!

Ordered the cod fish and chips with a small bowl of chowder. Chowder was thick and creamy with a great flavor. Cod was crispy and tasty. Price was great compared to surrounding restaurants. Family owned and operated. Great conversation with the owners son. Quick and friendly service.

This place has obviously been burned by a lot of customers. They have so many strict signs about to go being TO GO! TAKE YOUR TRASH, and like now you have to order before you sit at a table, NO SUBSTITUTIONS lol. It’s just so intense. Not very welcoming. And the meal pictured below was $17

So good! I only reserved a star because I personally don’t like so much butter in my chowder. It was still delicious – just not my personal favorite recipe. The restaurant is quaint and clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food came out quick, and was fantastic. Good portions for the cost. Crispy batter on the seafood – the halibut was excellent! Pro tip: always go for the salt & pepper chips over the fries. They are chef’s kiss perfect!

I am certain that the “halibut filet” fish and chips we were offered were either poor quality, or in fact NOT halibut.
The dark skin and flaky texture was fishy tasting which ok it’s fish but halibut does not normally taste that way. The fries were terrific.
The service was kind and accommodating. Helping us know what we wanted.
We shared the higher priced halibut and it was enough fish and chips to satisfy our hunger, but not our palate. Making a good price but not a great deal.

Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat! The food was yummy, came out quick and our experience here was great. The halibut and cod fish and chips were both moist, tender and everything you’d want in an order of fish and chips. The slaw was simple and tasty.
There are several reviews on here about poor customer service- we had a great experience here. They were busy, there were signs about rules, but the customer service was nothing short of friendly and nice considering how busy they were.
If you are looking for a local spot to eat at, with its quirks and small quick food atmosphere, this is the spot. If you are looking for a sit down restaurant feel, this is not the spot for you.

When I parked in the parking lot and walked towards the restaurant, I was confronted by a sign that tells people how to order and when to sit. I thought that this was the 21st century equivalent of my way or the highway. My theory was almost instantly proven by the servers who were neither efficient nor friendly. We ordered at the counter and seated by the server with a wave of her hand. When the food finally arrived, we asked for water, and it was grudgingly delivered. The chef had done a good job on the food. My clam stips were tender, well flavored, and crispy. The curly fries were done well. My wife’s basket of fish and shrimp was very good. The portion of the restaurant we were in had six two person tables and two four person person tables. During prime time, the restaurant would be very crowded.
