As a louisiana girl I gotta say the seafood options were great! I got the shrimp peel and eat, and loved how big they were! The shrimp itself were not seasoned, but with the sauce it made up for it. The shrimp chowder was slightly disappointing since we dont normally add tomato to both gumbo and chowder, so it came out oily-er than expected. Poboy my friend ordered looked amazing though!

Love this place!! Food is made fresh and quickly, be sure to come early for dinner – tables run out fast. We ordered a pound of crawfish, the catfish fillet, and a half dozen oysters. The crawfish tasted fresh and was just a tiny bit spicy. The fish comes with 2 sides and was piping hot – practically melted in my mouth. The oysters were big as you can see in the picture and not fishy at all! Loved it!

Tasty Tuesday! Dinner with the LOML. I of course had oysters to start. Louisiana Gulf Coast tastes so great. Then Chris went off the menu and served me a garlic roasted Parmesan crusted redfish with a cup of gumbo and a cucumber tomato salad. Stephanie Spell had a steak salad and fries , which at some point the fries were part of the salad. We love how well the food and service is here every time. We had been meaning to try Js and finally had the opportunity and man it did NOT disappoint. We started with some fried green tomatoes and they were certainly drool worthy! Hubby had blackened grouper filet with Parmesan potatoes hush puppies. I had clam strips… I’ve been craving these since leaving the Jersey Shore and they were on point…my sides of parmesan potatoes and gumbo were also stars. Service was perfect. They also have a fresh fish market indoors to include alligator meat.

Recommend by a friend. If you are in Phenix City get off of 280 at 431 south and be ready to eat some of the best sea food anywhere in the local area. Service was outstanding and the food is off the chart. Well worth your time to check this establishment out.

This was really good right by where we are staying and evidently and untold secret because it was realllllllly good! Boudan balls to start with their special sauce was outstanding…..Oysters on the half shell and a salad with vinaigrette hit the spot for us…..friendly service with a smile tried my sister’s catfish grilled and it melted in my mouth…. definitely a must in Phenix City
