I was visiting my mother and we were hungry for a hamburger so we decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad that we did. The burgers and fries were delicious, in fact, the fries were so hot we had to wait a minute or two to be able to eat them lol. We will definitely go back and we would definitely recommend.

Went in for lunch today with a few of our guys, hamburger was juicy and fresh, CFS burger was big and filling, Chicken strips were delicious and had homemade gravy. Staff was friendly and attentive even being busy. Will definitely be back!!

We lived in Yoakum for a year and ate here multiple times and still stop in from time to time. The burgers are our favorite. We always greeted the middle aged lady at the counter but I’ve never seen her smile and she barely talks. Not that I’m insinuating one should be how I think they should be but I guarantee the clientele would grow if whomever is at the register was more warm and welcoming. Maybe it’s anxiety. Maybe it’s something else. Prayers for her.

Food was great however the girl y’all had up front 03/18/24 in the evening is very unprofessional. Stopped here for lunch since I’m from out of town working in town. Great mom an pop diner. Food was amazing, kind of like grandmas cooking. So many great choices to chose from. Would eat here more if I was closer. Has a homey feeling and good environment. Definitely didn’t put a dent in my wallet. Will revisit if in town again

Food is OK, nothing over the top. However, the customer service is horrible. We went in at 8:15pm and was told they are closing at 9:00pm. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We we not greeted nor thanked for our patronage. We tried to have friendly conversation but were answered with an attitude. Needless to say, this will be my first and last time to this establishment.

This is an interesting little burger spot in a small town. The food is delicious; well seasoned, well cooked, battered and fried perfectly. The people there aren’t super personable but not rude. I’ve gone a few times and it seems like they are understaffed. I waited in line for about 10 minutes once and finally got to the counter only for the lady to, initially ignore me, and then finally tell me they weren’t taking orders anymore because they were so backed up and to come back in about an hour if I still wanted something. Maybe it’s a small town thing? I don’t know but the food is good, so we’ll go again.
