Went to JP’s with my friends and had an awesome time. Even though we came in close to closing, the staff didn’t rush us at all and were super welcoming and friendly the whole way through. Ozem was our server and he was great. He was talkative, kind, checked in just the right amount, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food was way better than I expected that late at night, came out fresh and hot, and they even hooked us up with a little extra at the end which was a nice surprise. Overall, super good vibe, AMAZING service, and great food. Can’t wait to come back.

Such a great spot! We came late at night with a very large takeout order and Maria was nothing but amazing! Her service was impeccable and she was just beyond friendly and kind. This should not go unnoticed!

What a cute find! My avocado toast with scrambled eggs was perfect as my first meal after my procedure at a nearby ambulatory surgery facility. The menu offers a variety of items for breakfast and larger meals at budget-friendly prices. Go check them out! It’s open to the public. When you arrive at the gate, just let the security person know you are there for the diner.

I went here for lunch today. The food and service were great. It was nice coming back as a SHU alum and getting to see all the changes on campus.

Came to JPs with a couple friends and it was fantastic! We showed up around 9:40, 20 minutes before close, yet all the staff were happy to give us a place to sit, eat, and enjoy a meal while being entertained by the friendly servers and kitchen staff. We were given some free leftover food at the end of the night, and Ozem, our server, was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, attentive, very polite, and continuously ensured we were all enjoying our meal and experience. Having worked in restaurants before and knowing how difficult it can be when some customers show up late, I was incredibly surprised with the kindness of the entire restaurant. Not to mention the food was great! I ordered the avocado toast, the chef made an accommodation for me to have a sunny side up egg instead of hard boiled, I also ordered the mac and cheeseburger which was one of the best burgers I’ve had to this day! Thank you very much to the head chef, entire kitchen staff, and our server Ozem for making our late night dinner an awesome experience for my friends and me!

I Have not been to a place ran so unprofessionally in my life, this diner is situated in the heart of the campus and is run by a crew of people who either hate their jobs or don’t quite know what their job is. You walk in for the first time and no one makes eye contact, so you just stand there like you know what’s next, then when you ask the “manager” Richard, can you be seated he asks if you put your name down on the list? like you were supposed to know that walking in. He did not know how long the wait would be and would not sit anyone at the empty counter, I guess the 5 people standing around behind the counter was not enough to work the counter. And when you actually ask if your next on the list you only find out after waiting 25min that 2 couples after you were seated before you because again walking in for the first time you should know if your next or not. This was move in day and for every family it’s a long day and you look forward to sit down and enjoy a meal with your family, not to be treated like it was an inconvenience that you even walked in the establishment. Very disappointed and for the sake of the students who have to live and study here I hope they get that together.

Beautiful location, food was very good, service was terrible. Words like disengaged, disinterested, and inattentive come to mind. When we first sat down we waited so long for a server to bring us menus that my wife got up and got them herself. All of the staff seemed friendly and helpful once we got their attention, but you had to flag someone down to even get a coffee refill. This in spite of the fact that the restaurant was largely empty on a Friday night. This place needs a solid manager to get the most out of it.

Food is fine and is one of the better places on campus. Aesthetically, the place looks as great on the inside as on the outside; it’s one of the nicest looking spots on campus. Service can take a significant amount of times during the busier times of the semester (such as the final couple of weeks.) Overall, a good experience.
