J&P taquitos is my Favorite ! I go there almost everyday when I’m at work . I absolutely love thier food . They have the best Hot Cheeto tacos ever !! I also enjoy the Birria tacos most plates served with perfectly roasted onions and jalapeño that always complete the meal.
I’m such a fan that I’m constantly telling my friends , staff , & customers that they have to try it (or I buy them a taco ) . No one I’ve sent there had EVER been disappointed!! The customer service is 10/10 Patricia is my favorite , she remembers my order & my name . It’s located conveniently by a clean and friendly liquor store that has a lot of beverage options . They take CARD as well as cash for payment !! also this isn’t like the over priced taco trucks we keep seeing the price matches the product!! This is the perfect food truck for the Atwater community & Im very thankful that we finally have one in city limits

My absolute go to for lunch whenever I work in town! The food and service both are amazing!! I’ve tried a variety of things and they never miss! My favorites are the flautas(the potato ones are a must try!) and nachos! If you like sweet&spicy ask for a queso-Hawaiian taco. It has pineapple and jalapeños, so flavorful!! I usually always order one with whatever else I get. My son loves their quesadillas and carne asada tacos! Nothing but good things to say about this truck, will continue to come back on a regular basis!

I have been here about 5 or 6 times. I likedd the queso birria tacos. They are greasy but good. I went yesterday 12/27/24. Within 2 hours I was ill. Very ill. I had to leave work early so I lost that pay. I was violently sick all night. I called to inform them since that was the only thing I ate yesterday so they could be aware and maybe pull that meat so nobody else gets sick. The girl did not seem to care. She just said thanks for telling us. No offer for refund or apology. Never going back. That was a horrible experience!

The food is absolutely delicious. The young lady that took me order was very patient with me, even though I only like certain things. They let me order exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. It was one of the best burritos, I’ve had in a long time. I’ve been buying burritos from a lot of different places trying to find the best place to go. J&P taquitos is at the very top of the list. They even have nachos cheese and hot cheetos fries, burritos, etc. You definitely don’t want to miss out on trying them out. The only thing you will regret is not going earlier!!!

EDIT: I dont know what happened. Their seasoning probably changed. Dislike the carne asada for sure. The rest isn’t great…. No longer our go-to lonchera.

Tried them recently one night because my usual Friday taco spot was off doing catering. The prices were okay and they are friendly, lot of options.
All that said, the food just wasn’t great. I got asada tacos and fries, and the greasy fries were the better part of the order. Despite ordering a spicier option of salsa, it was very mild and gave the taco more of a BBQ sauce/ketchup tastes. Too tomato tasting and sweet. Absolutely no heat/spice. The asada had no flavor(the sauce drowned out any other flavors), and I regretted what I got from the first taco.

Tried the pineapple pastor tacos, asada tacos and vegetable tacos. All were great, made just how I asked, and had lots of meat! The pastor was my favorite tonight. I’ll be back, again! Yum

Your better off spending your money at McDonald’s and thats because even thats not good. The price not so good for the quality. If your a true Hispanic trust me this isn’t good quality Hispanic food. I love burritos de asada but this place fails on the flavor. If they are gonna sell something please do it right! The burrito only had rice there was barely any meat, I’m not to sure what the rest is. Birria tacos lacked flavor as well. Salsa the worst, hands down the worst place I’ve eaten soo far!

Vary dishonest people. I purchased a super burrito and this is my experience at JP tacos. I asked the lady in the front for extra asada on my burrito and she said yes with a smile on her face everything seem to be going while she charged me 5 dollars for extra meat, i was really looking forward to trying this taco truck. As I sat down to wait I saw her cough on my burrito and she tried to play it off by turning her head around when she noticed I was paying attention.I didn’t want to cause a fuss as I was hungry and I knew she would have denied it anyways. She called out my order and handed it to me with a fake smile on her face I notice that my burrito was pretty light and took it home anyways like I said I was hungry and just got out of work so it was not really worth the fuss. The burrito had barely any meat and was drenched in grease also too salty I won’t be giving this place my hard working money ever again because of the rude and sinister customer service she try’s to act professional but don’t let that fool you vary snake like behavior and childish if you ask me. -5 stars
