Bento boxes, Katsu, bowls and so much more! I was craving chicken Katsu for a while and I was so happy to discover this gem in Palmdale. The Bento box for dinner was great, offered lots of variety, great portions and just overall good clean food where you don’t walk away with heartburn. Staff and owner were very polite and sweet. The interior was all nice and brand new seating and tables. Staff keeps the restaurant very clean and organised.

We tried Joys Japanese Kitchen for the first time and we loved it! The food was delicious and we could tell it was made fresh and with a lot of care. The attention from the staff was amazing and so welcoming. We love small shops and supporting our local businesses. We were not disappointed. We will definitely be coming back.

My boyfriend and I tried this place when it first opened and had to go back. There was more added to the menu and it was amazing. Its a calm friendly atmosphere, food is great, and Joy (the owner) is a wonderful woman and very proud of her resturant, the food she prepares, and cares about her customers. We love you Joy cant wait to come back. Its a 10/10 definitely best sushi in the AV.

Did take out with my partner. We were amazed by the flavor. My new go to spot. The flavor and Smokiness of the scallops were delicious. Finger licking good. We got the baked scallop and dynamite. Love the location, we did take out and did a date night movie night in the park by the city hall. Let me not forget the Thai tea. Loved it just wished they had boba . Experience, taste, cleanliness, and service was 10 out of 10. First time there and we were greeted the moment we opened the door.

I went to Joyce Japanese Kitchen in Palmdale by chance while on a business trip.
The restaurant was clean and neat, and both the owner and the male staff member who served me were very kind and attentive.
The food was absolutely excellent.
I ordered my favorite roll, and it was so fresh and crispy – just perfect.
The udon had a rich broth with various seafood flavors, and it was amazing.
Everything tasted honest and sincere.
It felt like I was having a truly satisfying meal after a long time.

I recently visited Joy’s Japanese Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the overall experience. I ordered the Baked Scallop Roll and the Seafood Udon, and both dishes exceeded expectations.
Joy came out to greet us, and made sure we were happy and satisfied with our meals.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed–perfect for a casual night out or a comforting solo meal. Joy’s Japanese Kitchen is definitely a spot I’ll return to. Highly recommended!

This is a recently opened establishment. The atmosphere is nice. I like the decor. What’s even better is the food and prices. We got sushi (crunchy roll, spicy tuna, and philly roll) and the portions are good. This will be my go-to sushi spot. Thank you for the free green tea ice cream as well!

Really great food. I had the bulgogi bento box. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone who likes Korean food. I have had Bulgogi all over the US and I lived in South Korea for a year and this is really good bulgogi.
The service was great and very attentive. Nice. quiet atmosphere with two tv’s tuned to sports which was nice.
This is one of those “off the beaten path” places that becomes a favorite. The food was really good, really fast and exactly what we were looking for.

If you are looking for an authentic Japanese place this is not it, it is Korean based, so things are different. Joy was very sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was clean and cheery. The food was okay. Not happy about the tuna being frozen, it was a weird color. The gyoza was not cooked traditional style but was tasty. The sauce to dip it in was pretty close to on point. It was lacking Layu chili sauce but it did have soy and vinegar, it was tasty. The teriyaki bowl that my friend got tasted like something you would get from the freezer section, not anything spectacular. The chicken katsu was cooked well and had ok flavor but it was lacking in the correct tonkatsu sauce. The tempura we got was good. I don’t mean for this post to sound negative I just want people to be aware that this is not a traditional Japanese place. If you want traditional Japanese food in the Antelope Valley, go to Shogun.
