We were looking for some good oxtail and we found this little place on the internet. Don’t be fooled by the casual atmosphere because the food is unbelievably delicious . They played Caribbean music while we ate our delicious oxtail, rice, beans and salad..
Joy, the owner is a precious gem, sweet, accommodating and friendly. We called the day before and she said she would cook oxtail for us even though she doesn’t normally serve it on Tuesdays. So of course we drove from Eastham to try her food.. we were not disappointed.
The people who frequently go there were friendly and we felt at home.
We were so impressed by the food, we ended up taking out more for later and tomorrow.
Joy…thank you for making us feel at home. We will definitely see you again.

The owner, Joy, is so pleasant and warm. Her interpersonal skills are great. Such a people person. The place will be relocating soon, so follow her just a few yards away. We ordered short ribs and jerk chicken, and both were delicious. See you again Joy the next time we are in town, and lots of luck and success at your future new location!

Just had “Joys Curry Goat”; it is EXCELLENT! The steamed vegetables, cabbage and carrots, was also very good, cooked a bit too soft for me, but it was still GOOD! Reasonably priced, and EXCEPTIONALLY TASTY! I had my curry goat with rice & peas, which made the meal good. YOU MUST TRY JOYS RESTAURANT; you WILL NOT regret it. Updates on other menu items including soups, to follow!

My daughter and I were looking for someplace to eat dinner on the road without the long wait times this time of year on Cape. Neither of us have ever eaten Jamaican food, but we were in a hurry and didn’t want fast food. Everything on the menu looked delicious and I wanted to try all of it, but we both landed on the curry goat with rice and beans and coleslaw. We ordered small sizes, because, well, it’s . We both never tasted any curry like this and the goat was delicious! Huge portions for small, and we both walked away stuffed and content. I am definitely on a mission to try their other offerings. The service was great and Joy was very pleasant. We highly recommend it!

The food was delicious, service was great. I’m blown away at the quality, the attention to detail (refused to serve pork until ready and flavors had set; well worth the wait) and the flavor packed meals for such a great price, you can’t beat it. Go try for yourself, my family and I were not disappointed and will most certainly be back!

I recently had the pleasure of organizing a last-minute get-together for my husband’s birthday at Joy International Cafe, and it was a fantastic experience. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating over the phone, making the process smooth and stress-free. The food was excellent, with the jerk chicken being a standout favorite among our group. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Joys International Grill and Cafe is an absolute dream of a restaurant. My first experience there was take out. The staff was very friendly and pleasant to talk to while ordering. Great pricing for cape cod standards and generous portions, couldn’t finish in one sitting. The jerk chicken was ridiculously tender and juicy with a spice that wasn’t overwhelming and a deep, rich flavor that could be best described as a symphony. There was also a fun selection of foreign drinks. Go for the extra sauce.

Great tasting Jamaican fare served by friendly and committed chefs. Was a long time patron of the old Jerk Cafe, and Joy is a great successor! Jerk seasoning was on point. She cooks a varying range of dishes so you can come every day and eat something different. Will be back!

My husband got food from here, and it was so good. I had the jerk chicken, and it was the best jerk chicken that I have had. I loved that the seasonings were on the chicken breast and not the skin. I only eat boneless chicken breasts without the skin. Usually, when we get jerk chicken, the seasonings are always on the skin, so when we take it off, it doesn’t have many seasons. I will definitely be coming back to get chicken from here.

Delicious! Joy was wonderfully patient with me as I shared my food allergies and sensitivities. She told me about the ingredients of all the different foods. I appreciated the time and care she took with preparing my meal. Great food, great service! Thank you Joy! I will be back!
