A nod to classic, delicious fast food, Joyland serves thoughtful favorites like the now-famous Crustburger—the ultimate smashburger—alongside the Joyburger Deluxe for the burger purist and perfectly fried chicken served in a craveable sandwich or on a stick. Fries, shakes, and ice cream round out the menu, while every morning features handmade buttermilk biscuits, baked fresh and filled with sausage, egg, cheese, chicken, or simply butter and housemade jam. Reviews
I didn’t want to have to leave a negative review, but I had to for this meal.
The person handing out the food had crumbs and stuff in his beard and mustache. He had some of the dirtiest nails I’ve ever seen.
We got the JoyNug entree. There was no seasoning. No salt on them, nor did the chicken or breading have any seasoning.
Half of the order of our curly fries was one huge fry. Cool, except that it was still uncooked in many parts.
They forgot our crust burger. It was so smashed that it became beef flakes and dust. 0 up going to attach some pics. Really really weird.
I do have to say that this place needs a serious fix with the hood vent extraction, the food smell is pretty strong everywhere.
Other than that, amazing.
The street tacos were a study in contrast and balance — deeply seasoned, vibrant, and structurally perfect, with each component distinct yet harmonious. Every bite delivered brightness, heat, and savory depth without ever feeling heavy or muddled. This is street food executed with technical discipline and real respect for flavor layering.
We closed with the churros, which arrived hot, crisp, and aromatic — exactly as they should be. The exterior offered that ideal delicate crunch, giving way to a soft, airy interior, with sweetness that felt intentional rather than overwhelming. A clean, confident finish to the meal.
Johnny Queso’s presence supporting Adriana added another layer of polish. Their teamwork was seamless and professional — the kind of coordinated floor service that keeps the energy flowing without ever pulling focus from the food.
Torchy’s isn’t just serving tacos — they’re curating an experience. And nights like this are why guests return.
