The food here is FANTASTIC and the portions are huge for the price! Seems to be more of a takeout place than a sit-in place as there are only a couple of tables. Ghanaian food is SPICY for the average American palate, so be warned! We tried the fufu with goat soup (contains meat and organs.), the grilled fish with jollof rice (tilapia and red snapper are served whole, head and all), and the kelewele (fried & seasoned plantain served with a side of peanuts)! Highly recommend if you enjoy West African cuisine or have an adventurous palate.

This place is filthy. The service and atmosphere is not welcoming. I was really looking forward to trying their food. But, I could not get past the stale smell and the unclean surfaces. I am very fair in my reviews but, there is no logical reason for this restaurant to look like it does. Needless to say,I did not eat from this place. I would recommend you don’t either.

I ordered a bowl of soup on Friday, only to discover it was spoiled when I got home. I called the restaurant, and they offered for me to return it, but the weather prevented me from going back that day. lol When I finally visited after work on Monday, I was shocked to find they were still serving the same spoiled soup. It’s unacceptable that this soup was likely served to other customers who ordered goat meat light soup over the weekend and into Monday. This experience was a complete waste of time and money, and I will never return to this establishment.

My new go to place to get Jollof Rice with Chicken. The one down the street has really gone down hill so it was nice to see a new restaurant with the same options.
Like some said the rice is a bit dry but I don’t mind because just add some black pepper and it is delicious. The chicken isn’t grilled; it’s actually fried which is surprisingly delicious. The outside skin is crunchy and the inside is juicy. I tried this place at least 3 times and the chicken is consistently good. The price is around 15$ for an order which is decently priced for the amount you get.
Also the service isn’t exactly great but they get my order right. Just make sure to call ahead of time.

I’m not African but I love and cook Ghanaian food and know what good food is supposed to taste like. Order over the phone and they take my order went to pick up they’re telling me I can’t order the way I order like I’m not spending my own money, why did you wait until I get there to tell me that. Every other restaurants I order the same way and get what I want. They beef flavorless jollof flavorless, where’s the stew for the beef? Where’s the rest of the vegetable? The fish flavorless and the beef is dried out. Please replace your chef’s. Do better please.

The menu listed the Goat Soup at $11, but upon receiving the bill, we were surprised to find a charge of $16. When we questioned it, we were informed that the menu was outdated. Additionally, we were not provided with an itemized check, leaving us feeling uncertain about the charges. It appeared that the gentleman at the counter arbitrarily determined our final bill. Caution is advised!

Tried the Jollof rice with chicken and the spinach stew with beef. It was very good with just enough heat. Was craving spicy food, this hit the spot! Was sorry the were already out of meat pies. Will be going back again to try the peanut soup. 🙂

My first time buying from here. I ordered 15 dollars worth of rice for a gathering nothing else. She gave me some chicken and rice and some veges but charged me exactly the 15 dollars which tells me it was intentional to rip me off. Let me tell you toughest chicken I ever had and the rice was dry as hell.. What a waste of money and oh yeah they got this meat pie patty looks like a Jamaican beef patty but not even close barely any meat no flavor and crumbled when bite it. Worse food I ever ate.
