The food is fantastic. It is hard to find good Chinese food and Joyful House was on the way home so we stopped. I am so glad we did! We will definitely be back to enjoy some other items. Thank you for making such flavorful dishes!

Best Asian take-out food in the Douglassville area! We often try new items and we’ve never been disappointed. Some of our favorites are the Pink Lady & Godzilla rolls, chicken lo mein, and the Singapore Mai Fun. The dining area inside leaves a lot to be desired, but we always do take-out anyway so it’s never mattered to us. Highly recommend checking them out, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is great. Been here a few times now and each time getting something different and the food was the best around compared to other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Decent portions, prices, fast service and it seems the quality is also better than all other places I’ve ordered from. Just wish Joyful House was closer to where I live.

Ordered 3 items. Picked up and went home. Ordered egg drop soup, was wonton soup. Was supposed to be extra hot General Tso’s was not. Food was very good! Just a little bit disturbing that I got wonton soup when I don’t like wonton soup!

Love this place. It’s the only place I go for Chinese food. I love the Fried Wontons and General Tso’s Chicken or Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and Lo Mein. They do it right, and they do it consistently. It’s sad I spent years eating lesser quality Chinese food before I found Joyful House.

Used to be 5 stars but lately food quality has gone downhill. Food is either bland or fatty/greasy. I’m not sure what changed but for a place that charges more than the competition I expect better quality. Still friendly service when you visit though. Hope they go back to how it used to be.
