I honestly had one of the best meals of my life at this restaurant! From the moment the food came out, I knew I was in for something special. The flavors were incredible, everything was cooked perfectly, and you can truly taste the passion in every biteAnd let me tell you they have the BEST black rice in South Florida. I’ve tried black rice at so many places, and nothing compares to this. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.
Make sure you come out and support this amazing spot. And when you do, definitely ask for Chef Jimmy , he’s the real deal! You won’t regret it. Big Platter

It was my first time in Fort Lauderdale and decided to try some Haitian cuisine since it was near my lodging. I came here for dinner and ordered the goat stew and my boyfriend ordered the turkey stew. We found the flavours interesting and the food was delicious and portions were large. The staff members were always all smiles and the deejay was very accommodating and played some great kompa music to entertain us throughout dinner. It was a lovely experience for the both of us.

5/13/25 marks my fourth visit. I ordered paté kòde with akra, meatless lalo with white rice twice and now meatless legume with boiled plantains respectively. Their convenient hours, clean and presentable space, decent pricing, honest time-estimates, courteous staff and fresh foods made with fresh ingredients is what keeps me returning. Thus far, their paté kòde is humongous and delicious. The breading has a sweetness to it. The meatless lalo and white rice comes with a very proportionate amount that includes fried bunan, delicious Haitian macaroni and sòspwa only for $23! It also was very appealing and smelled so good.
Thus far I am pleased and I hope that they can be consistent while getting better. I am very impressed with the fact that they offer meatless lalò and legume. Alot of Haitian restaurants say that they can prepare it with no meat only for me to find out that they lied. Deception and carelessness.
Lastly, my legume was prepared with FRESH ingredients that you can identify by its colour and crispness. Keep it up!

We had a great experience dining at Joyeuse’s restaurant. The food prepared by Chef Jimmy was delicious. Chef Jimmy came out to speak to us and made us feel very welcome. We are adding this to our list of favorite places to eat.
