Went here for a date night . Welcomed into restaurant by a friendly chap who showed us to our seats . We have never been here before so he explained everything. You can either order from QR on table or old school menu . You can order 5 items each at a time and the food came hot and fresh . Portions are a perfect size and the food is delicious. Just both gutted we couldn’t fit in a desert as we were both to full . Highly recommend and will definitely be back .

100% worth coming here. They offer popular starters, mains, and also desserts! It is perfect for people with varied taste’s and exceeds expectations. Food was really good for the price and we had no issues whatsoever with service or food. The grilled meats were fantastic, as well as anything tempura-d and the noodles. The sushi was decent – this was the main reason we came and it was nice, it wasn’t top grade sushi but did the job. Our favourites were the beef dishes, teriyaki dishes, and the noodles were fantastic. The desserts were also delicious – they’re a bit small so we had several rounds. You can order 5 dishes every 15 mins – we didn’t sit around waiting very long at all for food to arrive and 15mins goes by very quickly when you’ve got 5 dishes each. We ended up having 4 rounds of food in total and tried a good few options on the menu. We will absolutely be coming back as it was great. Service was great – they brought our dishes out really quickly, cleaned our table regularly, and we had no problems with our orders. We came on a saturday lunch time and it was a great time to come as it wasn’t busy and everything was available on the menu.

Visited Joyoto Japanese Restaurant in Swansea on a Wednesday night with colleagues. The all-you-can-eat buffet (£31 per adult) is great value, especially with 50% off the second person for groups. Ordering is done via an app, with food served fresh to the table.

We tried a wide variety of dishes including honey mustard prawns, chicken karaage, chicken katsu, yakitori, lamb skewers, and katsu curry—all very tasty. The ambience is decent and comfortable.
Highly recommended!

Food was ok, bit of a gimmick though, cooking your own meats at the table is all well and good but you’ve got nothing to season it with so very bland.

The sushi rolls are smothered in Japanese mayo which makes it a bit claggy and I noticed that everyone had the fake crab stick in it. The nigiri is nice and the plates are plentiful.

We booked for the unlimited buffet and unlimited drinks but when we asked for the bill, they charged us for the drinks.

Went to Joyato for my sister’s birthday meal. Server seemed bored, unbothered and even agitated with our presence. Ordered a couple cocktails and they were the worst I’ve ever tasted, way too strong, to the point where it made me feel sick! The waiter served our food with a miserable look, straight after we witnessed him picking his nose! Definitely not what you want to see before eating your lunch!

Thankfully the sushi was delicious, however there was no wasabi or pickled ginger, which is standard to eat with sushi. Good selection for vegans and vegetarians. However, the app used to order on was extremely confusing and hard to use, when we asked for help we were met with no help at all and it seems to have lead us to being overcharged, as the server tried to give us lamb skewers when we had only ordered vegan food.

We were definitely overcharged, total for food was supposed to be £105, ended up paying £135, is that £30 service charge!? Would be more happy to pay this if service was actually good.

We’ve been visiting regularly for over a year now and have had plenty of time to try a large range of the Japanese all you can eat menu and see the service at all times of year. The food is consistently excellent – the sushi is freshly made and all the food tastes fresh and arrives hot. The service is fantastic, with wait times between submitting orders and food arriving at the table ranging from extremely quickly on average to the occasional ‘very good and regular’ on those hectic big evenings like Valentine’s Day.

The staff are fantastic. We recently visited for a celebration and when we mentioned it in casual conversation every effort was made to make it special for us, which was very appreciated.

I personally recommend the chicken katsu sushi as a must-try. I love raw fish sushi however the katsu chicken is cooked which makes it great for anyone still yet to find confidence with sushi in general, and it’s so morish that we can’t stop ordering a few rounds every visit.

After a day spent climbing Pen Y Fan, a mountainous hunger grumbling in bellies, we headed out for All You Can Eat. We weren’t actually meant to go to Joyato – we were passing by it on our way to another buffet. The sign caught our eye and we decided to chance it. Best decision!

I was initially a bit dubious about the ordering process but, after the first round of ordering, I absolutely loved it. The food came out hot and fresh! We didn’t love every dish we ordered but we certainly loved most of them. High praise for the harumaki, yaki soba and the grilled duck, which I don’t see on the online menu but it was available to order at the restaurant. The wakame was also really nice. I really enjoyed the texture. While the flavour of the beef and lamb Kushiyaki was lovely, we found the meat a bit tough, but, chalked that up to the AYCE model.

The service was friendly and even though we were seated near the kitchen, it didn’t take away from the dinning experience. All in all, a very good first impression.

I look forward to dinning at Joyato again.

Recently walked by this restaurant and seen the ‘All you can eat ‘ offer. Booked a table and we were not disappointed.
We were given a warm welcome and the process of ordering explained, all done via mobile.
You can order 4 dishes each every 10 minutes over a 2 hour period from the whole menu .
Excellently cooked and extremely delicious.
We would not hesitate to recommend. Offer has been extended to 30 June- £31.99 with 50% off the second diner.

We went to the all you can eat lunch, and it was amazing. Each dish was made fresh and could not have been better.

Easy to order through the web page up to 4 dishes each time per person. They also have a huge choice of drinks we went for the refillable sofa drinks

Personal favourite of mine was the bao buns and the surf clams but would cannot go wrong with anything. I look forward to going back and trying the other half of the menu

Joyato in Swansea has been open for about a year now and it looks like they plan to expand into other locations. You’d expect by now they would be fully prepared for busy days, especially with it being all you can eat. However, it was clear they were not prepared for the busy period we visited.

I love the concept. It’s supposed to be freshly cooked all you can eat, where you can order 5 dishes per person every 15 minutes. But there was some confusion, as all the menus said 4 dishes every 10 minutes. It didn’t bother us too much as it didn’t really make a difference.

Around 50% of what I had I genuinely enjoyed, and the same goes for my partner. The rest was a mix of cold food, dishes that seemed to have sat around too long and gone chewy, and some that were overly greasy.

That said, I would still return. The value for money is decent considering how much you can try, even if the plates are small.

The main letdown was the wait. We ordered our first 10 dishes, then another 10 after 15 minutes. It took around 30 minutes before anything came out, but once it started, the food came out quickly and in bursts. We ended up ordering 29 dishes in total and things got a bit overwhelming for us and the small wobbly table we were sat at.

Credit where it’s due, the staff were good with clearing plates and keeping on top of things. Most were friendly, apart from one waiter who spilled soy sauce on me while rushing and didn’t even apologise, just walked off.

I’m glad I tried it as I got to sample things I wouldn’t normally go for. Hopefully next time it’s a bit more balanced and less chaotic.
