I was welcomed warmly by two staff members and almost immediately offered some water for the table. Very nice and smiley gentlemen working, helpful and attentive at the same time loved to see them chatting, laughing and overall looking like they enjoy being there. The salmon dish was really impressive, especially the size of it. Too bad it doesnt come with sides, but theres a wide range of them, good opportunity to personalise your dish the way you like. Panna cotta unfortunately was bitter and tasted yogurt like. Theres a wide range of desserts however, im hoping to try more. The place is clean, cozy and overall fits perfectly for any occasion, whether you’re looking for a casual place to spend time in or professional service. A service fee is added, so that’s convenient. No problem if you wanna add a tip on top of that!

I went to Joya for a dinner date with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We liked the look of the menu so decided to give it a try. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy with a lot of people waiting to be seated. We ordered drinks (water and an apple juice) and they took 30 minutes to come. We ordered food quickly and received our starters 45 minutes later. The bolognaise was bland and felt like it had be reheated. We then had to wait another hour before our mains arrived. I had the hot stone flat iron steak which was very nice my boyfriend’s filet came rare when he asked for medium.
Overall, the staff were lovely and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Although, they were clearly understaffed and over seated. I’d go for the steak if you’re not in a rush.

We recently had a lovely dinner with my boyfriend here. We both loved the fact that you can choose your own salt, butter and sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, and was well paired up with red wine sea salt and garlic butter. Peppercorn sauce was also great touch to our delicious meal. The “torta al limone” was also phenomenal with fresh lemon sorbet. Staff was very helpful and smiley. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bath.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was delicious. We’ve been here several times and tried different menu items. It’s hard to single out anything because everything was so delicious. The stone-baked steak is beyond reproach. The panna cotta is divine! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The atmosphere is very cozy! All the best and prosperity to this place! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I visited tonight and we were absolutely AMAZED. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, the food was 10/10 and even the cocktails were stunning. If we lived in Bath we would be regulars!! Thanks for an amazing night. Highly recommend.

We came to Joyas today, after many visits before.
We had the focaccia, Arancini, and Buratta and tomato salad,
followed by steak, chicken and gorgonzola pasta, fries and creamed spinach.
Food was absolutely 5 star. No faults and no complaints.
We will be dreaming of this meal!
The gentleman who served us was so attentive, and even had a special dessert with happy birthday written as it was my birthday. We didn’t catch his name but thankyou!!
Can’t wait to return many times in the future.

Had a gorgeous dinner here with my boyfriend for my birthday and it was incredible. 5 star food. The only steak restaurant we’ve ever seen where you can choose your sauce, butter and salt. Such a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and made me feel very special for my birthday with a special dessert too. Thank you!

My family’s favourite restaurant in Bath- we’ve been for every special event for the last few years! We are leaving Bath and went for our last Joya meal last night- a sad day but as always, great food.
We have tried most items on the menu and recommend the Arancini and Meatballs as starters and definitely the hot stone steak as a main. The meatballs as a main and the baked chicken are also delicious!

The steak was the best I have had, cooked on a hot stone, I liked how you can choose your own butter/ sauces at least I know what’s going on my food, we went for a birthday celebration on a busy night, we got sat upstairs next to a window with a pretty view of the river. Our waiter was kind and and attentive. We would definitely recommend anyone visiting bath.

A nice thick center-cut sirloin and every bite was like the first. And cooked just the way I like it!
The service (Sebastiano) was excellent also.
