Ordered by phone. Someone in another review mentioned that the women always quotes “10 mins” for every phone order. They were right…she said, “10 mins”!
The entrance into the restaurant has 2 steps down to the main level. I dont see how someone in a wheelchair could make it down.
The dining area isnt much but its offered. The lady working was super friendly.
The food was decent. I say this a lot lately……Not the BEST, but far from the worst! Everything was hot and freshly made. The portion size wasnt the greatest, but what I got ended up being enough.
Thank you for the quick service and fresh food.
Im sure we’ll be back again sometime when we’re back in the area.

As a Blacksburg native, who has had Chinese food in some of North America’s top chinatowns, including New York, San Francisco, and Toronto, Joy Wok’s Chinese food is on par with these destinations. Joy Wok is consistent and always provides an enjoyable meal when I come back home.

This small Chinese restaurant in Blacksburg has good food with fast preparation and generous portions. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t working, so it was pretty hot inside. It would’ve been much better if the temperature was adjusted for a more comfortable dining experience. Overall, the food itself was tasty and worth if you order to go.

We have been Joy Wok fans since our first try. The food is delicious, fresh, and is still piping hot after traveling back to Gaffnrey. It is by far better than any of the other Chinese restaurants in Gaffney, and other towns. We are weekly customers and all the dishes we’ve gotten are so very good. Glad our friend Kat told us about it.

Some of the best Seafood Delight I’ve ever eaten. Actually everything I’ve ever tried from there has always been cooked to perfection with love. It’s family owned and operated. Their love for their family shows inside and you can actually feel the their love in their food. I’ve never had to ask how long would it take and them not have it done before the time they had given me. Fully recommend.
