The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.

1) i dont care what the restaurant looks like. I just care about the quality of food.
Ok here we go.
Upon ordering, the order should have been 13$. Charging an extra 5 is a bit absurd.
Upon getting the food, it smelled strange. Something isnt right/fresh in your recipe or your oil is dirty. Customers can tell the difference.
I still tried the food and the recipe is way off. It didn’t taste good at all..
I’d recommend upgrading the recipe and or trying other local dishes to compare.
Today was my cheat day from healthy eating all week.. i had the general tso which is my favorite. I’m so disappointed.. it’s also my 1st time being served general tso without broccoli.
The egg roll was fine and chicken.
My review is harsh but honest. For the benefit of your business and future customers, if you are able to, please do better. We all work hard for our cash.

The place sucks. I couldn’t eat my sesame chicken. It was like eating beef jerky. The portions are small. It was like chewing rocks. I’ll never order from them ever again.!!!

Best local place for traditional Americanized Chinese food. They usually have the order ready within 20 minutes from your call and are reasonably cheap for the size of the portions. Each dish is flavorful and its a nice treat when you don’t feel like cooking. They have a small parking lot in front too for covenience if you pick up!
