Joy Teriyaki is usually my go to when I’m going to eat out. The Wilsonville Oregon location was one I visited at least one a week. I’ve been to this Vancouver location a few times now and it’s always hit or miss. However this may be last visit. I feel awful rating only two stars but this trip had me left in complete shock. $22 meal and a $25 total after tip in a pick up and I got 4 small pieces of chicken in the entire thing?? Also, the sauce for the gyozas leaked out and completely saturated the bottom of the bag. This is not the Joy Teriyaki I remember.

We have been going to Joy Teriyaki for over 20 years (starting from when they had their original shop in Portland). Hands down, the best teriyaki place around! They also serve some Korean dishes and today I tried the Mandu-guk. It tasted just like how my mom made it when we were kids

It’s like a lot of little terriaki shops (it is a small space)that are out there. Only better. I went in on a Sunday. The woman pleasant and cooked my order pretty quick. I got it home and even slightly cooled it was pretty great. Go there but just not so much that I gotta wait in line. Also be nice to them. They are really friendly.

Visiting this area on 7/12/25 for the weekend, I wanted chicken teriyaki for lunch. I don’t know why but there are so many teriyaki restaurants around here.
I decided to try Joy Teriyaki. I had almost no expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. The lunch chicken teriyaki plate was bigger than expected. It was a mix of breast/rib meat and some dark meat. Sauce was not too much and it was very good. The sauce on the salad was a little too sweet but it was refreshing. This plate was $11.25+ tax and I thought it was a good deal for a lot of food. I would recommend others who haven’t tried this place!

Honestly, not a huge teriyaki fan, but husband won the pick today.
Nice sized menu. A large amount of choices for the non meat eater, or if you prefer seafood.
Lunch specials.
Great seating/dining.
Staff was friendly and the food was delicious!

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. By far some of the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. We got our food super fast. The owner was so welcoming to us and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely recommend for dine in and take out.

Nice teriyaki place in the east end of Vancouver on 192nd. The chicken teriyaki and yakisoba is great. Very cool interior and clean too. Great stop!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was poorly made, lacking freshness and flavor. There was practically no service — we were ignored from the moment we walked in, and had to go out of our way just to get basic attention. The hygiene was unacceptable: dirty tables, greasy floors, and unclean utensils. On top of all that, the staff had a terrible attitude — unfriendly, impatient, and unprofessional. I strongly advise avoiding this place.
