Saw this place in Instagram and pinned it to my list to go to in Chinatown.
The menu is extensive and has a little bit for everyone’s craving for the day. You know it’s a good sign when you walk in and you hear the uncs and aunties yappin. It just means this place is authentic !
The Satay Beef Noodle soup was great. It has a spice in it I can’t pinpoint, but it made it unique to any other beef noodle soup I’ve had. I was expecting a taste closer to bun bo hue, but no it’s something different. Still very tasty! The cucumbers innit was a surprise and it worked very well.
The chicken wings came out piping hot and crunchy. The chicken itself didn’t have much flavor tho.
The chow fun is something I’d order again. The beef was cooked with a Smokiness flavor to it.
This spot accepts card for payment, so I am happy that I didn’t have to pull money at an ATM. The staff is very friendly and can give recommendations

The portion is small, but it is huge! Very generous and filling. The cafe is quiet, there are few visitors and it is very pleasant.

This place slaps! It’s a family-owned restaurant. The shrimp (spring) rolls were HUGE and sooo delicious with that peanut sauce!!! I ate them all. They added a hefty amount of high quality basil to them which made them Soooo.good. The shrimp was fresh, too, not fishy at all in the slightest which I was scared of because I get turned off easily from seafood due to that. Noodles were super good and I asked for something off-menu and they were happy to make it for me (BBQ beef noodles). Large portions. The beef was tender and the broth flavorful. It’s also a great place if you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere

Best canto food in chinatown. Authentic, fresh, relishing, and delightfully cozy! Love their rice and noodle dishes where you can tell they were made with love❤️

I ordered beef belly with rice, but they made beef belly with noodles. I rejected and they make me feel like I was the one who made the mistake. You can tell the impatience look from their face like I should just accept whatever they made. After my request to make me a new one, they simply just pick the beef up from the beef soup and then put it with rice. They can fool me cuz any intelligent people can tell there’s soup in the rice! So I have to ask them again! This time they look really pissed, went back to the kitchen and walked out with the same dish, without even trying to fake it. And then I just had enough of it, paid and left, never gonna come back. Their food also is mid. I don’t know why people would go there honestly.

Great spot for a quick solo lunch. There are so many options in Chinatown but many are cash only, some might take credit card. But for me who forgot my wallet at home, I needed a spot with great food that also took apple/google pay.
I ordered the pho gai with chicken organs. Rare I ever see chicken organs on the menu so this was a happy surprise for me. Food came out fairly quickly and it was a decent portion that I was able to finish too. The auntie that greeted me is very friendly and also speaks Canto, Mando, and English! They recently remodeled the place and it’s spacious and clean. Give it a try next time you’re craving some viet-chinese food 🙂

I came during lunch with colleagues just before noon. The place was surprisingly empty at the time. It started to fill up while we were there, but never got completely filled and they still had seats available by the time we were all done. This does not happen very often in this neighborhood. Most decent places in this area gets packed with lines out the door during the lunch hour. This place is known for their Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup), so I had to give it a try. Most of their customers do order this dish. It’s definitely not bad, but its not the best Vietnamese style noodle soup out there. I would go back if I were ever in the mood for chicken noodle soup, otherwise I would much likely prefer to go up the block to the other Vietnamese Restaurant that have much tastier beef noodle soup. Do know that the bowl of soup does not come with vegetables, its only garnished with parsley and onions. If you want greens or other veggies with your soup you’ll need to specify when ordering. They do also give you a side of their house made dipping sauce for the chicken consisting of oil mixed with finely chopped ginger and onions (this is a very nice touch!). We also ordered their grilled chicken wings, it wasn’t bad but it did not scream out delicious. Do try if you are ever craving for Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup, however go elsewhere if you are particular about this style food.

Very authentic and quick service. I got the wonton soup and it was very nice. Other people in the restaurant were also eating the wonton soup. They take card!
