We stopped in for some hot food, fast. This cafeteria-style South Asian restaurant serves delicious curries, perfectly-cooked rice, and generous portions of naan or raita bread. The price was right compared to other options in the area and the place was quiet and clean. We didn’t really like the vegetable sides as much though, as they had somewhat unpleasant textures. Overall, we didn’t let it affect our overall impression of an efficient and tasteful fuel-up.

Stopped in for lunch today and I’ll be back! I got the Chicken Tikka Masala platter (over rice with a vegetable and naan), a mango lassi and a vegetable samosa all for about $21. It tastes amazing! Everything looked delicious!

Joy Curry & Tandoor catered our 2nd Annual Safeena Foundation Iftar with close to 200 people. The food was tasty, plentiful and enjoyed by all. I have also dined at the restaurant on many occasions and always enjoyed the food and excellent service. They have a great 2nd floor area where you can meet and eat.

No bad options here. Great lunch trays. Plenty of space upstairs to eat in. Service at the counter very fast, even if there looks like a line you’ll be eating right away.

Joy is an institution, serving the community for years. The biryani, paalak, fish curry, and kaddu (Tuesdays) are the standouts on the menu. It is great for lunch, with daily specials, and I would go frequently when I worked in the area.

Dedicate spot for Indian food. My friend from Indian culture recommended here to me, especially butter chicken.
Lamb curry was only meat inside. It was good but the meat was a little bit dry.
Roti was average! I would try naan next time.
Interesting my favorite was the dessert. It was cottage cheese in milk sauce. Great treat after a heavy-flavor meal.

Delicious Indian dishes and the best naan I’ve had in NY – prepared with love by the friendly family owners. And the lunch price is so reasonable at $15!

Couldn’t stop talking about the Chicken Curry Express Lunch I had at Joy Curry & Tandoor. That spicy, fragrant curry sauce over tender chicken and fluffy rice made my lunch break awesome.
