Simply the best bagels around! My whole family loves them. Great selection including plain, egg everything, salt, fruit pebbles, french toast, chocolate chip, and cinnamon raisin. Cannot wait to try their breakfast sandwiches. All staff are awesome and so friendly.

I luckily work right up the street or I never would’ve known how awesome these bagels are. I always order ahead so the wait time is nonexistent but I have seen them get busy. I only ever get cream cheese so I can’t comment on anything else but the bagels are FRESH. Egg everything or French toast is my go to. The service is always amazing and it’s super clean inside. You can tell the people that work here take pride in the shop. I would recommend everyone to give them a try.

Clean and bagels were good – tasted fresh. The only thing was that it was about a 25 minute wait to get the 2 prepared bagels we ordered, and it was crowded waiting inside. They just opened so probably why there was a longer than ideal wait. I would recommend ordering over the phone and picking up instead.

Wowww!! What a sandwich! I ordered the benchwarmer with the jalapeño bagel and was NOT disappointed!! Absolutely delicious with a caramel iced coffee My wife ordered the pork roll egg and cheese and was in heaven! Ate the entire thing plus a new garlic herb cream cheese on everything bagel and smashed that too!
Note: I am not from NJ and didn’t order ketchup but shortly after receiving the sandwich with the hash brown ON IT, I now understand why that’s a fav!

Terrible breakfest bagels. No egg on my sandwhich which i payed for. No extra cheese that I paid for. The sandwhichs were terrible. Over cooked and tasted like trash. Bagels also where not good at all

Honest to God the most inedible pork roll and cheese I have EVER had. FIRST OF ALL, I ordered from what I assumed was the all star bagel 5 minutes from my house, because obviously why wouldn’t it be? Come to find out it’s 20 minutes away.. whatever, I won’t make a problem .. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. There’s an almost $2 (extended distance) fee mind you.. it arrives and the pork roll is so hard and overcooked you truly cannot take a bite. so I paid $20 for essentially my iced tea to be delivered. Door dash offered me $5 back. Absurd. Don’t eat here. And double check which all star bagel you’re ordering from. Although im sure they’re all not great.. Manhattan bagel, literally anywhere else is better.

I had high hopes for Joy Boys All-Star Bagel in Barnegat, especially since I’ve enjoyed their locations in the Toms River area. It was exciting to have one open somewhat close to home, even though I have two other bagel shops that are even closer. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing.
I placed two separate orders, and both had issues. First, I ordered a pork roll, egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich for $10. For that price, I expected a decent portion of meat, but it was underwhelming—not even “picture-worthy,” according to my daughter.
The second order was placed through DoorDash, but I realized they didn’t offer delivery, so I went to pick it up. I placed the order at 10:50 AM and didn’t receive it until 11:20 AM—30 minutes for two bagel sandwiches. That’s simply too long for something so basic. From what I saw, it seemed like they were making one order at a time, which is not efficient. If that’s how they operate, they may struggle to keep up with demand.
To top it off, my $13 pork roll, egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich was unimpressive. For that price, I expected much better.
I hope they improve before it’s too late, but for now, I’ll be sticking with other bagel spots where I feel my money is better spent.

Best new bagel spot in all of Ocean County! The staff is super friendly, and I love the open kitchen layout—it really adds to the experience. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and you can tell the younger generation running it is bringing fresh energy to the area. Great vibes all around!
