This id a unique spot in downtown Dayton to grab a drink woth friends. They have a very large selection of wine you can order by the glass or purchase by the bottle. They also have a good selection of cocktails if you are not a wine person. I got the “Call me a cab” which was a little sweet for my taste. I then found out they have several bourbons on hand and can make all the classic cocktails, so an old fashioned it was; their house bourbon is old grandad bonded. The food is good as well, butnI wouldn’t go super hungry because this is a “small plate” establishment and is not ideal if you are lookong for a big meal.

This is a must try in Dayton! Love coming to Joui. Natalie is fantastic. The atmosphere is great. The cheese and charcuterie plate is 100% worth it, and the chambong is very fun.

This place is truly a gem! It has everything: a wonderful ambiance, delicious food, and a great selection of quality wine and professional service.We started with the artichoke dip and green goddess dip, both of which were super tasty and unique. The charcuterie board was a highlight, filled with fresh ingredients and accompanied by a mustard that I can’t stop craving since I had it. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the wines ❤️

Every time I go to Joui Wine I’m always blown away by the atmosphere. I recently went for the stores one year anniversary and every seat was packed. Obviously the wine here is top notch but I specifically enjoy their cocktails, recently I found the slipper season cocktail especially exceptional. The food here is nothing to scoff at either, notably the deviled eggs are always super creative and tasty!

We went on a Sunday and had a wine fight and Lauren was so knowledgeable about every wine. She was so helpful and an absolute joy to talk to. The food was next level pretty and tasty as well. The entire place is very cute and the perfect vibe for a glass of wine with girl friends or a date night.

Spent a Saturday afternoon sitting in the sun filled front sitting area at Joui. I love the atmosphere! The wine was excellent and the food was outstanding.! The service was also so good! And, she was very knowledgeable, answering lots of wine questions.
What a great place to chill with friends.
The dirty martini dip… so good!!! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.

Everything about Joui is delightful! Taste Buds on Thursday—a mystery wine tasting–is definitely one of my experiences. I’m not very good at deciphering which wine I’m tasting, but it’s helped me learn more about wine and to appreciate the different styles. Lauren has created a welcoming space, and I also appreciate that the food menu always has a vegan option!

Had a great time here. I wandered in on a random downtown walk and felt welcomed right away. Renee was my server and really looked out for me, explaining dishes I didn’t know and offering solid recommendations. I left happy, taken care of, and already thinking about coming back.

Really enjoyed the experience at this new wine bar. Great atmosphere and very spacious. Love the selection of by-the-glass wines and the unique cocktail menu. You must try the I Have En-jouied vermouth cocktail. The tasty small plates are a nice addition (the poached pear – yum!!). I will be keeping an eye out for any future events they’re hosting. Looking forward to seeing this business thrive and expand.
