I wanna start off with the good because I believe places usually have good and bad quality, coming from somebody who has worked in the food customer service industry for about 10 years. I’ve cooked in restaurants, managed a kitchen, waitresses, and bussed tables.
The waitress was GREAT, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Younger woman, blond hair. She was super nice and accommodating and quick.
We walked in on a Saturday morning around 9 o’clock and there were like 4 people in there, which should have been a red flag but we were in a rush.
The food….. was DISGUSTING. I don’t think I could even call it mediocre. I ordered over medium eggs and specifically said I didn’t want the eggs runny but still dippy…. they came out soggy. The sausage was just scary…. like didn’t even look like meat, was sitting in oil. The French toast was just falling apart with bits of burnt flakes on them.. the potatoes were flavorless and oily, covered in cheese and raw onions
Needless to say, we didn’t really eat it, I should’ve taken a picture but didn’t have my phone.
We asked to speak with a manager.. who was busy cooking AND on the phone we were told. So we waited. And the waitress came back and told us she was busy so she would call us later and took our number. We paid the full bill of $35 and left.
The thing that bothers me the MOST about this is THE MANAGER NEVER CALLED US!! I wasn’t going to write a review until she decided not to call us
What kind of manager does that? Not a very good one I’d say
Not an establishment I would ever return to and I will most likely tell people about this experience. Save your money. The waitress even said she wouldn’t eat the breakfast and goes up the street to the Mannheim diner…
I’ve been to many many many food establishments and this was by far the worst and grossest food I’ve ever seen and tasted. This is your warning

Although cheap breakfast, it was mediocre at best. Bacon not cooked right, coffee was ok but not hot. Small amount of home fries. Toast wasn’t butter correctly. All put on a tiny plate. Go to macs diner or the old Squier motel. Better quality and excellent taste.

Haven’t been here in years, probably before it became Josie’s (20+ years?).
We had breakfast. Eggs, home fries, sausage, English muffins, and bacon.
The bacon was cooked just the way I like it(without asking), just enough crispy, but still had the fat(my favorite part).
The only thing was the French toast. The crust was more in the tender/chewy side, tastes almost like it was on the stale end….where it should be soft and able to cut with a fork easily. But that’s my only complaint, and definitely not a reason to not go back or order again. This may be our new once a week routine.
Oh! And prices were great. For what we paid for 3, would have been doubled elsewhere for the same order.

Excellent breakfast with fresh ingredients, full of flavor! Friendly good natured staff. Decor is a bit dated, but once you taste the food, the decor doesn’t matter any more!

It was absolutely horrible. We walked out never ate. When we went in we stood in the middle of the restaurant for almost 10 minutes no acknowledgement we were even there! All available tables were dirty with the dishes from the last persons meal. No one was even bothering to clean them up. Plenty of people walking around. We got there before 11AM and when we finally found a cleared off table the waitress asked what we wanted to drink we said coffee since we were expecting breakfast but she gave us a lunch menu and took off. I feel they should of gave us the option for breakfast items since we were standing there waiting to sit down so long. I understand they were busy but a greeting and we will be right with you would of been nice! We will never go there to eat again very dissapointed! If I could give them no stars I would have!! We did however go out into the auction and had a good fresh cooked breakfast on a clean counter top and excellent service.

Always had great experience, food was always fantastic. This time don’t know what happened. Breakfast was absolutely awful. Omelet with sausage was missing the sausage. Homefries were raw, absolutely raw… On a good note the wait staff were great and friendly. The kitchen needs help.

The Cheeseburgers and Fresh Cut Fries were excellent. The server was friendly. The price was very good. Will definitely come here again! We came in a large group and got out served quickly.
