Yum!! Great food. I stopped in and ordered some greens and corn bread. So tasty! Perfect amount of seasoning on the Collard greens and the corn bread was fluffy and moist! Great selection of home cooked southern food! We all need to support our local family owned businesses!

The food at Josie’s is delicious and the staff is friendly. I had the pork chops, potato salad and fried green tomatoes, and I really enjoyed all three.
It was a pleasant surprise to find fried green tomatoes being served in February (their tomato supplier must grow in a greenhouse during the winter months), and I really enjoyed talking with the owner while my food was cooking.

I ordered Shrimp and Grits, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of cheese, shrimp cooked just right with excellent seasoning, and grits were the perfect amount. Also, best peach cobbler I’ve ever had. Big props to Ms. Josie! Highly recommend!

I’m personally not a gravy guy, but the smothered fried pork chops… omg. Collin greens were awesome, rib tips were great. They cater and bring good service to the table. Only thing keeping it from a full 5 star is they have a limited staff and can’t be open when doing catering. So you gotta get in when you get the chance, they put the soul in soul food.

Friendly owner. Cozy feel, dine in or take out. Variety of items to choose from! It was so good I forgot to take a picture of my full plate. I had fried green tomatoes , chicken, Mac n cheese, greens, cabbage, tilapia, and sweet potatoes, every item was delicious and affordable. We will be back!
