This was our first time at Josie’s. Amber Rose was our server. She was so polite and provided excellent service. We went for brunch. We had the Josie’s Benedict and Avocado Toast with the brunch potatoes. It was by far the best Benedict and potatoes I have had in years!! Josie’s is a Decatur Gem!! I highly recommend visiting. We plan on going back for dinner one evening.

My daughter and I ate at the establishment last night. It was superb. The food was excellent. We had the fish tacos for appetizers and we had the The pickle pizza and added the garlic chicken which the waitress recommended it was Superb. I also had the lemon Cirila martini which was excellent and the waitress and bartender provided. Excellent customer service most definitely ether again. If you haven’t tried it please try it. It was delicious.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The service was awful and mediocre at best. My spaghetti and meatballs took 1.5 hours until I was finally served. But, instead of a good meal that you would assume 1.5 hours of waiting would taste like I was met with a measly 3 meatballs completely covered in a thick layer of cheese (probably to hide the horrible taste) and then I found that there was still a good amount of water left inside the bowl. I ended up trying to pour it out and decided that (despite starving) I wasn’t going to finish my food and I left the worst dish I have ever tasted sitting on the table. This was BY FAR the worst food I have ever had not even considering that it took a whopping hour and a half to be served. I wish I could say something good but truly I cannot find anything good about this restaurant other than the exit.

Josie’s was a very inviting spot in this little town. They have tables and chairs outside so you can enjoy the weather and your meal. I had the French onion and it was delicious. The mushrooms was amazing – I need to find how to make these. The serve was so sweet and took care of us.

Ordered the French toast with Grand Marnier butter and thick bacon. What I got was two pieces of Texas (?) toast and burned bacon, similar to leather, and a plastic container of plain syrup. I had the same thing last month and it was as advertised and excellent. I guess they just don’t care what they serve anymore.

This restaurant had hands down the worst food I’ve had in a long time. I never write reviews but this was so bad I needed to to spare others from going here. I waited almost 2 hours for my spaghetti when we were the only ones in the restaurant(??). It eventually got to the table, and my eyes beheld the sorriest excuse for spaghetti I’ve ever seen. There was next to no marina sauce, and the thin, bare noodles were swimming in a half inch pool of water. Somehow it was less than flavorless. The bread that came with the spaghetti was all right but how can you mess up a slice of generic loaf bread. I work in a restaurant where I cook spaghetti sometimes, and trust me, you have to try to be able to mess up spaghetti this bad. Servers were decently nice. Take your business anywhere but here.

Great gastropub with eclectic vibe, great food, and atmosphere featuring local artist’s work. Brittney was welcoming host, and gave us great recommendations. Shawarma chicken nachos are the highlight of the meal- we should have ordered the large instead of the small.
Josie’s pizza has a perfect hand tossed crust, not to thick, not too thin. Great combinations of feta, mozzarella, kalamata olives, my second favorite of the night.
Mahi tacos were good. Diced jalapeños added heat.

Avoid brunch. They are inefficient and the food is mediocre at best. It took 75 minutes to get three dishes that looked like they could have been made in 5 mins. The BLT comes with no sauce, bread was far over toasted. The breakfast pizza is a regular pizza with a fried egg on top, not even part of it. You could make a better one at home in no time. The breakfast bowl is a few potato’s, cheese, meat, and once again an egg or two thrown on top. The menu is misleading, the service was terrible, and the kitchen clearly has work to do. We boxed our food immediately and left. It’s unfortunate because during dinner this is normally a solid place. Save your money and time and venture across the street.

We ordered the brunch bowl, farmers Benedict, kids pizza, and mimosas. Benedict needed more gravy, but overall everything was great. Loved the brunch bowl!

Everything even the wedge salad was drowning in salt. The fish tacos where mushy and disgusting. The gyro meat obviously came out of a frozen box. Not even served on peta the best they could manage was a tortilla. Not authentic in the slightest. Skip the food.
