So once again I was out and about and hungry for breakfast, when I came across Josie May’s near Camden. Easy to find just south of the Hwy 70/641 intersection. Not a fancy place but comfortable and very welcoming with a super friendly staff. This place is a true local diner with a large variety of items to choose from on the menu. Even though it was mid morning they were still quite busy but service was fast and attentive. Food was delivered to the table hot and everything cooked to order. Overall, just exceptional home cooked food. Eggs just right with large sausage patties, home fries crispy outside but meaty inside, large fluffy biscuits with tasty seasoned gravy. I’ll bet you won’t go away hungry. For my part, looking forward to going back soon and giving the omelets a try

Decent little cafe. I got a double cheese burger, but the patties were so thick I couldn’t even bite the thing… but it did taste pretty good. Kid liked the French toast.

Listed a home today in Hollady Tennessee. Afterward, we stopped in at Josie May’s Family Restaurant. I had a breakfast burger with crinkle fries. Robert N. Hoff had the Double Cowboy Burger with beer battered onion rings. they were big and delicious.

Breakfast anytime, bacon eggs, sausage, pancakes , all good. Very friendly people. If you’re close and hungry or just thinking about food, STOP or turn around if you drove past it! It’s good.

Hate to talk about local business as I live here but truth b told. Spend in excess of $25 for bfast on occasion when I have one meal a day once or twice a week. No more! Lots of grease and small portions and I still leave a 25% or higher tip. The younger blond waitress is good. Today ordered my wife a “country dinner” of hamburger steak and potato to go. $33!! HB steak is smaller than McDonalds HB and the potato that fits in the palm of my hand has only a spoonful of stuff. Questioned him on the quality and quantity and the owner was not interested. Place is a mess and owner does not seem to care but rather rely on the few locals who go there. My bad for trying to support this local business. NEVER again!! Sorry Camden.
