Got a burrito pollo asado and partner got chile relleno and chicken enchilada. Im upset over my burrito because the lady asked if i wanted everything in it and i said no onion please. And we get home and my burrito only has pollo and an avocado salsa or something. I dont know if this is just how their burritos are made but i was expecting to have some rice and beans like most burritos.

I work in the area, and after going to a few different taco shops the carne asada burrito tasted the freshest.
The parking situation is a bit tight and isn’t that accommodating to larger vehicles. If it was busy, I think parking would be problematic. Aside from that, I will come back.

Despite it is 4.2 ratings when i googled this shop. I went to see for myself. It is 5.0 star. I recommend y’all come here to support local authentic restaurant. It is cozy and feeling mexican theme inside the shop. Food is on point! Especially rice and bean taste so good. They do offer free dice tomatoes to add on your food plate. This is a definitely my new go-to for lunch break near by work.

Stopped by for a few tacos to get me through a long commute. Tacos were a good size and had plenty of meat. Asada taco was delicious. Carnitas was okay. Red salsa had a nice kick, but I preferred the green salsa.

Not sure why this place is rated so high, maybe other food on the menu is good? Not sure. I came here for lunch on break from work. They messed up my order to start with, but more importantly the burrito I ordered was not good at all. All the burrito is, is just meat onion, tomato, and some cut up avocado. I asked for no onion, but it was all up in there, so I took it out myself, and when I did and rewrapped it – it made up at least a quarter to half of the burrito. I can’t recommend this place unless you are into a burrito like that.

I ordered roll tacos today. I ordered five. A lot of lettuce hardly any cheese and hardly any guacamole.They charged me almost eleven dollars. I aint you here a lot and the food’s normally great, but for some reason, the cook can’t decipher how to put guacamole or cheese on roll tacos, frustrating real frustrating. The last time I went, they gave me four roll tacos instead of five with very little guacamole and cheese that go okay, it’s a mistake but twice. I am Latino American. That means I am mexican and I eat a lot of mexican food and roll tacos, and the food is good here but when you do your portions wrong and you rip people off that is wrong. They get an f for failure. And their pricing is not accurate, so I’ll probably Report them to the better business bureau.

I have been coming to Jose’s 1999 and they have consistently been my absolute favorite taco shop. I moved from the area up to near the Oregon border and crave their tacos. I have searched high and low for tacos that compare to no avail. Luckily, I still have family in the area and can stop in during visits. Not only is the food good but the service is good and the place is always clean.
