Located in a gas station, so takeout only pretty much. The food was soooo good. I had the Cuban with beans and a salad. My husband had the Caribbean Chicken. Some of the best beans I’ve ever had. Jose was super nice. The prices are fantastic. Highly recommend!

I learned of José’s Cuban Deli at the Lansing Foodies Facebook page. It has many positive reviews so I wanted to try it. I love Cuban sandwiches and haven’t had a good one since a vacation in Florida. We got a Cuban sandwich and an artichoke chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! The cook also gave us a side of rice and black beans to try, which was also excellent. Great food and customer service, recommend highly!
Just an FYI, had a little trouble finding it (not real familiar with Lansing). On Google maps it is listed as being inside a Marathon station but the station is now an Amoco.

Jose’s has been in business since I went to school nearby more than a decade ago, and their sandwiches are still just as delicious. The media noche is my personal favorite, and it has a bit of sweetness from the brioche bread and a bit of crunch from the griddle. It’s a great combination of flavors. The staff is very warm, and my order was ready fairly quickly. The location in the kind of sketchy looking gas station is the only downside, but don’t let that drive you away. The food is worth it.

This unassuming slice of Havana is tucked away in a small Williamston shopping plaza (they have another location in East Lansing). The moment you open the door, you’re greeted with a sensational aroma and you know you’re in for a treat. The owners are friendly, helpful and hands on in operations. They care and it comes through in the quality of the food. I had the Aurora combo and my wife had the Chicken Artichoke. Both were excellent as were the sides of beans and rice. This place is just a few minutes off 96 and well worth the excursion.

Wow…the artichoke sandwich is amazing…. smiling right now as I eat this sandwich. Would prefer if the meat was Halal. Otherwise the taste is amazing … Don’t let the environment fool you, this place tastes really great. The food feels pretty clean. Either way really delicious, however nutritionally it might not be the best., will likely eat here again!

Quality has gone down since first opened. Cuban was not crispy, the “orange crush” was Special K and cookies hard as a rock. Very underwhelming.

A true hidden gem! I was up late and starving so I got the chicken platter special and it was incredibly delicious. The chicken was marinated perfectly and the sides of black beans, rice, and a salad were all tasty as well. Extremely convenient takeout experience and friendly counter service!

I’ve ate here a few times now. I’ve had the chicken platter, philly cheese steak, and the BBQ pulled pork. The bread for the sandwiches is great, I love that it isn’t thick and overwhelming. The chicken platter is always amazing! The location is convenient and the people are friendly. Never have to wait more than 10 min for my order.
