We live in a very small town with only a couple of restaurant options. The first place we planned to go was closed, so we decided on this spot, and unfortunately, we truly regret it.
For a family of four, our bill was $76 before tip, which would be understandable if the food and service matched the price. Sadly, they didn’t. The food tasted like basic frozen food and was honestly not good. We ended up wasting more than half of it. My husband’s jalapeño poppers were still cold on the inside, my fries were overcooked, and the sweet tea wasn’t sweet at all, which was disappointing since it was ordered for our kids. We waited over an hour before they were even brought their correct drinks.
The service was equally frustrating. We were there for well over an hour, and our waitress only came to the table a few times, once to take our order, once to drop off food (and later something she missed), and once to bring the bill. She didn’t return to collect our cards, and after waiting more than 10 minutes, we had to take them to the bar ourselves just to pay.
The atmosphere was also uncomfortable. There were several kids running around the bar area, which felt inappropriate and chaotic.
Between the high price, poor service, long wait, and low-quality food, this was a very disappointing experience. We don’t eat out often, so when we do, we hope for something at least decent. Unfortunately, this was not it.

The owner has done a.good job investing in appearences and staffing. I went there for.new years eve and it was a fun time. The singers were very enthusiastic and tje crowd was friendly.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Quite a spread was prepared and served by the wonderful people at Jose’s Bar and Grill, all for the kids! The prices were great, the drinks were cold, the company was warm, and the food was absolutely amazing! If you’re ever in Worthington, don’t miss a chance to stop in here 🙂 I do have to fully recommend the alligator bites. I think I’ll try a bison burger next time!

One of my favorite places to eat! Good beer, FANTASTIC burgers and fries! Love coming here on the weekends and hanging out for a bit.

Love the food, service is fantastic and I adore the atmosphere and charismatic charm of the place. My server/bartender the red head was so sweet & chatted with me while I waited for my food. Definitely recommend them to anyone in the area or considering going. Also learned they do karaoke on Saturdays & sometimes have some bands in there as well!!

Waitress/bartender was absolutely amazing and so wasn’t the cook! The food not so much . Ordered steak dinners and wings. Steaks were way too done, like the outside was burnt and absolutely no flavor at all! The wíngs were phenomenal! We will be trying again to try different foods, but the steak just wasn’t it for us. Very fun atmosphere and great customer service!
