I love going to Joseph’s Grill before the Wild games. It’s a fun, busy, and energetic atmosphere. The MN Chicken and chili are two of my favorites, but all the food is truly great. If you like Bloody Mary’s, they make their own mix and it’s really good. If you’re going to the Wild game and coming from out of town, Joseph’s bus is a great way to go; no dealing with traffic, and pick-up/drop-off is right by the entry.

Great food. The fries are the perfect blend of soft and crunchy. The Black and Bleu burger had good cheese. It did take some time for our food to arrive, but the food was good enough to cancel that out.

Quick seating, bar area available with plenty of tv’s for sports watching. Shuttle avaliable for wild games. Large dining area, great service, and the meals were cooked great with perfect fries and battered onion rings.

The pancakes were huge and the portion sizes were big. My coffee was great. The food quality however could have been better. My scrambled eggs had shell in them and they were very stale when they came out. The bacon was so crispy (burned) it should not have been served. The decor is very 1980s with too many TVs going. Overall it was okay.

When you first walk in to Joseph’s, you’ll feel like you’re walking into one of the nicer restaurants in St. Paul; That’s because you are. I’ve personally been here many times throughout the years. The difference is it doesn’t come with the super expensive price tag. Located a stones’ throw from the mighty Mississippi and downtown St. Paul, Joseph’s has a great and diverse menu that will suit even the most particular eaters. You’ll find everything from upscale bar food to finer dishes, comfort food and everything in between. There is a dining room and a bar area as well as a patio and a back room for private events, all well tended by friendly staff.

When you walk into Joseph’s, you can be very confident that you’ll have a great dining experience.

Joseph’s reminds me of an east coast diner. Large selection of food items, good size portions, reasonable prices and fast service. The waitress was extremely helpful and seemed to enjoy her job. The food came out quickly and was very good. We were on our way to Wabasha Caves and this is a great place to grab a bite before a tour. Lots of locals having lunch with friends.

Great atmosphere and food! Lovely day to be out on a patio, gotta soak up the Minnesota weather while it is above zero! The French Onion soup was wonderful and just what I needed! I also had the Portobello Mushrooms sandwich and that was fantastic! Those that were with me had beautiful meals but unfortunately did not share! I will be back for more!

My friend and I went here on a whim and to quote my friend “This was the best impulsive stop we’ve been to. I had the steak and eggs and the meal was under 20$. My friend had the Josephs Breakfast and she really enjoyed it! She said the bacon was some of the best she’s ever had. The interior is warm and feels higher end. It looks like there are so many different great weekday deals and I am excited to try more from Joseph’s Grill!

Decent restaurant, nothing special except the prices! Very reasonable in the age of fast rising costs. The walleye roast sandwich was ok, the tartar was pretty much mayo. Not work going out of your way to eat at but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced American diner, this is your spot! Staff was extremely friendly and the dining room, and bar are very roomy.

Breakfast is truly massive portions – pancakes, hash browns, eggs and bacon took 3 huge plates! We almost ran out of room on the table.

Lunch was okay but I wouldn’t come again for lunch. Something tasted slightly off with either the ketchup or the fries. I’d definitely return for breakfast.
