Excellent atmosphere, great place to eat. Especially loved the food, Josephine’s wet our whistle with some free Italian wedding soup during an event downtown, and when our large family started talking about where to eat, Nick poked out from inside the shack where they were serving soup and he said, “Go to Josephine’s!” Busy restaurant but they seated us quickly. We shared across several different plates and everything was delicious. Fantastic service! That was an easy 5 stars.

Only reasons I am giving it this rating is due to the crowedness of the place. It’s great that it is always busy but the tables are so close together and the wait is usually long. Also with it being also owned with Naps the division of the menu to me is ridiculous. Especially when there is no seating available on Josephines side but they tell you there is on the Naps side but you can order off the Josephines menu. Doesn’t make any sense. It would be a better place if they could knock that middle wall out and combine the two in to one restaurant allowing the entire menu to be ordered from. Not to mention that if you sit outside you CAN order from either menu. Just be aware that if you sit outside you will be most likely on plastic chairs and dealing with flies.
My husband likes the hand made, woodfired pizzas but it just not worth the hassle or the price of 19.00!! Also if you want a different salad dressing other than their homemade one, nope can’t get it. Don’t really care for the dressing either. Doesn’t taste good unless you like a strong oregano taste. It could be a great place with some minor adjustments. I have to say though the owners are very kind.

Amazing skillets for brunch!!!! Yummy toast comes with it, too! Not a fan of the coffee….very watery….But…..Chelsea was a great server and was on point with her humor and sarcasm!!! Loved her! The patio was adorable but needs a little TLC with all the wood piles and semi healthy plants everywhere.

This review is really special because I went here on my birthday and I turned 21! This was on April 23rd, and I got a prosciutto specialty pie to share with one of my sisters, a frozen cucumber mint mojito w/ rum in it, and a blondie cake w/ vanilla flavored ice cream and candied pecans! The whole meal was really good, and I highly recommend coming here if you want some good quality pizza and food!

Ate here for the first time last night. The Margarita pizza was amazing, house red and house salad were the perfect complement. Pizza had thin and crispy crust with just the right amount of toppings—delicious. We will be back.

It’s bigger inside than what it looks. I liked the old wood flooring, the copper ceiling, and the old pictures. The waitresses were friendly. The Margherita pizza was great, floppy though, not firm. I liked the wood fired flavor. The homemade bread for the Italian sandwich was a unique taste, I liked it. The Italian bologna was delicious. The chocolate cake was okay. Dry and the cheesecake was lumpy. Not a rich chocolate taste. But okay. The people at the bar were very loud. I’ll come back for the Italian to go.

Great gem in Indiana! Wonderful atmosphere and great hospitality made only better by delicious bites. Small but well appointed bar allowed me to order a fairly obscure cocktail and it was made very well! Enjoyed it so much that went back the next morning for brunch! Couldn’t recommend more!
