Today was my first time visiting this eatery. I ordered three burger meals one with wings and a Houston salad with chicken. It took over an hour for the order and we were the only one in the place. the wings were so tough and rubbery the lettuce on the burgers and salad had a terrible stink and taste, the fries were cold after waiting for an hour, the salad was nasty due to the lettuce, the shredded chicken was from the thigh of the chicken which was not fresh and it had a awful taste and smell. I was recommended by a friend but I will not return.

I ordered 2 lunch specials of spaghetti with a piece of catfish on each along with a swamp pasta. Guy advised me that he don’t have any crawfish which was fine yet when I got home there was no crawfish sauce on pasta so why didn’t he clarify he didn’t have crawfish sauce as well as no crawfish???? Best for customer to ask specific questions….. . And another thing, I called order in an hour before I arrived and there were 3 cars ahead of me so of course I knew I’d hafta wait but once I reached window, I still had to wait about another 20 minutes! What’s the point of calling in ahead of time if Imma still hafta wait?

This was our second visit to Josephines, where we ordered the wings and fries (lemon pepper and jack sticky). The service was great and our order was prepared quickly. My only issue was the tiny sized wings. I do understand restaurants receive deliveries that are oftentimes beyond their control, and I also know that tiny wings are a staple at most food establishments… and that is unfortunate. Outside of the tiny wings…this restaurant is great and so is the food. Do better poultry producers!

There is a sign up letting ya know that it’s all cook to order. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It has a line and I soon noticed it was a small place where the only dining setting was outdoors in front of their establishment. I order the “Mariah”. It was piping hot but seasoned excellently. It was a great portion of food
I was moaning with every bite lol that’s how wonderful it was. Our order was quickly taken and he treated everyone as they entered immediately even though he was in the back preparing our foods. I will definitely be back. Next time I will call in my order. Please give them a try. 10/10

I had the Henny Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious. The sauce is amazing. It does have a little kick to it, but it’s not too hot. The sandwich was pretty big and it also came with a side of fries. Honestly the portion is quite generous for $5.00. I can go on and on about this sandwich. It’s definitely worth every cent. I must say that the wait was a bit long, but after I tasted the sandwich, I see why. I was quoted 20 minutes, but it took about 40-45 minutes. Not too bad, but when you have only an hour for lunch, that doesn’t leave much time to eat.
