The pizza was good. The garlic rolls were eh. There was only one server and a full dining room so service was super slow. It was 15 minutes before we got water. It was nice sitting with my friends and talking but water and rolls right away would have been nice. Next time, we will just get takeout.

We really liked the specialty pizzas! The maragharita pizza and the all meat pizza were delicious! We also tried the appetizer sampler and we really enjoyed the Italian style Rangoons! We’d never had anything like them before. Highly recommend you give them a try with your pizza!

I don’t give 5 stars to anyone unless it is crazy perfect good but this little place is excellent for pizza! We didn’t like the lasagna here but have been back ten times at least since coming to Green Bay a few months ago. I would order the pizza (we order medium thin crust) extra crispy. The place is a little dated but not dirty…small family run business with very good pizza. Recommend highly!

The waiters nd waitresses just sat in the back room and we could hear them talk, we waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. We got the bare minimum service and the second he was done helping he went right back into the kitchen. Other than all that food was delicious.

I have had pizza from coast to coast, and this sauce and crust combination is amazing! Top 3 for me in my book! Definitely ordering again!

Hands down the highest quality food I have had since moving to the Green Bay area. We had the “double dough” pizza with extra cheese. It was clear that they used fresh, quality ingredients, and I was honestly shocked at how reasonable the prices were. I have paid much more for way less satisfying food many times, since moving to the area. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere and while the decor is definitely dressed down and casual, it has a polished feel that gives the impression that it could be pretty fancy if it wanted to be.
The pizza itself has a very unique flavor unlike anything I have ever had. I detected a hint of Rosemary in it somewhere, which is normally among my least favorite seasonings, but the flavor was blended with the other ingredients to such perfection that I think I might be changing my mind about this herb. Perhaps I’ve just never encountered anyone who knew how to use it properly until now. The 14 inch double dough pizza offers a generous portion for the price, partly due to the chewy crust, delicious in it’s own right.
This pizza is special, folks. I can’t stress that enough. If you’re anything like me, you have a certain thing you are seeking out when you have a pizza craving. Likely the greasy, cheesy, satisfying but somewhat bland pie that larger chains have been offering us all for decades now. This pizza does not deliver that familiar flavor that I originally set out to have; instead it was so uniquely good it made me question why I have been living in such a culinary bubble for so long. It’s not the type of pizza that I’m going to want every time we go out, but at the same time, it’s also the kind of pizza that I know I am inevitably going to have a craving for, and when that happens, there will simply be nothing else that will do. I wouldn’t at all be surprised to find out that there are some locals who will *only* eat Josephine’s pizza.
The service was professional and attentive, I have absolutely no complaints in that area either. This place proved to be an absolute delight to visit and I plan on going back very soon.

Ordered take out vegetable primavera. It was very small for the amount charged. My daughter and I thought it was a kids meal for $14,00. It did come with soup less than a cup. Was disappointing

A quaint little pizzeria in the heat of Howard. Their pizza is pretty good, but what I’m really in love with is those garlic knots. I could eat those until it made me physically sick. So good. The app sampler basket was also pretty banging. Pizza wontons are stellar. I was excited to try the Chicago style pizza, but the sausage patty proved a bit too much for me. Josephine’s tomato sauces were quite good which leaves me wondering why they don’t use it on their Margherita pizza. Loud atmosphere and inattentive wait staff brought the experience down.

My family and I always love coming here for dinner or getting takeout. Great atmosphere and amazing pizza! Reading some of the reviews, you obviously can’t please everyone, but some seem like they can’t ever be pleased. Crazy to me that people think a family pizzeria should be fast food. I don’t think many of those reviewers have worked in the food business, but it always seems they’re are the first to give their opinion. Either way, it’s a great pizzeria, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I ordered take out: create your own pasta- angel hair, Alfredo, and shrimp, a calzone- spinach, mushrooms and pepperoni, and also the Italian crab ragoons. We were very disappointed for the price of the food, nearly $50, and the size of the pasta portion- only 6 small shrimp, barely any sauce, no flavor what so ever, no Parmesan. Side salad was pretty sad. The clazone was literally a pizza crust folded in half, and had no marinara with it. Very disappointed with the quality and quantity for the price.
