Decent sandwiches and sides. Portion size is kinda small for the price. There are limited drinks available but do cover the basics. There are weekly specials but they are not much cheaper. The food quality is pretty good. The location is a general store, also where you can get desserts and other food items. The desserts were the best part of eating here.

Wonderful food! I had the stirfry with wagyu and kimchi. My wife had the wagyu burger special of the week. Somebody snuck a few bites before I could get my phone out.
The chef was happy to come out front and talk about the food we had eaten and the cuts of meat that they sold in store. He answered questions on cooking properly and gave us great advice!

What a cute lunch spot! I had never been to Roanoke, so my friend and I met here to start our day. Great salad and soup combo. I love that the menu rotates. A must visit.

The food was good, but the service was not. The girl taking orders was not friendly (to put it kindly). We had trouble getting water. The container to serve yourself was empty, and we had to ask twice (and felt like a burden) for asking. Only two napkins were brought for three people. Just in general, wasn’t the welcoming and we felt like an imposition even though there was no one else there for a good chunk of the time. Just left you feeling a little blah about the whole experience. If management reads this, your younger front of house employee(s) might need a refresher on how to make customers feel valued when they come.

Went to the Emporium for the first time today with some friends. Dennis was an amazing help and really made my friends and I feel welcomed! Dennis was very knowledgeable on the wines and even brought us out some to try! Even though the areas for dinner we’re not open, he walked us through and gave us a tour and it is such a beautiful place. We will definitely be back for dinner! We sat out in the courtyard and since we just got back from France a few months ago, we felt like we were brought back to our tea party in the French countryside!

EXTREMELY slow service and COLD food. It took over an hour for two orders of sliders and a Greek salad (a Greek salad that didn’t even have feta? ). This place was terrible.

What a terrible experience. $39 for a black bean burger and Veggie wrap. First you have to go to a central station and pick up a menu, the “ staff” pointed and said come back when you decide, oh by the way our drinks are in the cooler over there. Once we placed our order and received our drink glasses it took 30 minutes to get our food. Which does not sound bad except we were 2 of 4 people in the cafe waiting on food. When we received the food order the Veggie wrap was mostly lettuce with some red onion. The sweet potato fries were not fresh and obviously reheated. The Black bean burger was ok as were the string fries. When we asked for some ketchup one of the staff brought us a bottle that had the cap snd sides covered with ketchup. We had to use a napkin to clean the bottle before we could use it. I won’t be back.
