So far my dining experience here has been great! I always get the steak dinner and it’s cooked they way I ask for it except for maybe once, I got well done instead of med well and my beans were super hot. Maybe that was a slip up that day. It has not stopped me from enjoying this place, from the chips and salsa to the freshly carbonated soda. I live about 26 miles away but will take a drive out here anytime for this place. I have yet to try there other dishes, but am looking forward to what else this place has to offer. Oh, the receptionist are sweet, attentive, servers try there best to check up on you in case there is a need.

I’ve come here a few times now and enjoy myself each time. Located on the North side of Honolulu Ave. There’s paid street parking but multiple free parking around. It’s dim inside, but cozy. Mostly booths around the restaurant and a few tables outside as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area whether it’s a family night out, date night, or meeting up with friends.

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was tasty, and fresh. Our server Lalo was warm and attentive. The younger gentleman that got our water and table set up initially was very kind. They have great outdoor seating patios, and are very kind and dog friendly. We enjoyed our experience, and felt like the food was delicious. We hope to come back on a regular. There seem to be many regulars there, and we can see why! Right in the heart of Montrose Honolulu, parking can be found with a little effort! There is street metered parking, and a few public lots south of the street.
Update – 1.2025 continues to be our go to neighborhood Mexican spot. Lalo is wonderful, and we always love being in his section!

Beautiful restaurant. First time for me and my girlfriend. We both loved the atmosphere. The decorations around the restaurant were very nice. I had the burrito, and it was huge. 1lb. She had the Tostada. Huge as well. Neither of us finished our meals. The waiter was very friendly. All the staff we encountered were friendly. Affordable prices as well.

We finally got a chance to stop by. We went around 1:30 on a Sunday so the place was packed. The wait was only 20 minutes and we were greeted with a huge bowl of chips and salsa. We all ordered different margaritas that weren’t too strong and the flavors were okay. After about 40mins, the food arrived. The food was good and the portions are huge. We all had food to take home. Consider sharing as this place is perfect for family style dining.

Have not been in a while so I was happy to return for lunch with friends. It was very quiet and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at lunch time. Service was exceptional however, the food was just not up to past visits. I didn’t like the taste of the refried beans and the enchilada was just okay. Both of my friends ordered a tostada. One finished her entire bean tostada the other took the majority of her beef tostada home. Maybe this was just an off day at the restaurant.

We had a lovely, quaint weeknight dinner at Joselito’s. Loved the ambiance (restaurants with facades hold a special place in our hearts) with indoor and outdoor dining available. The service was prompt and friendly; our server Lalo was great and thoughtful enough to ask if cheese was okay when I had requested no sour cream on my amazing (GIGANTIC) veggie burrito. The portions were very generous. Husband enjoyed his shrimp fajitas and I somehow made it halfway through my 12″x6ish” burrito before tapping out and taking the rest home. Free 3 hour parking in the public lot down the street. We’ll definitely be back…Brought up memories of an old mom and pop Mexican restaurant in our hometown but a little less kitschy and better quality everything.

People order your food for a lot of money on a delivery app. When they order it And you complete the dish, YOU DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO KEEP THE FOOD WARM UNTIL A DRIVER COMES TO PICK IT UP. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? Customers are paying so much out of pocket to have food delivered and you do nothing to ensure it gets there hot until a driver picks it up.
I suggest no one order from you online or through an app.
This is absolutely inexcusable.
