The food is pretty good. I ordered the tres golpes. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled and they charged me extra, I thought that was greedy of them. I have a raw egg allergy, so I can’t eat eggs unless they are fully cooked. The mangu didn’t taste that fresh. Overall it wasn’t bad but wasn’t great.

The guy in the front was very unfriendly. Asked him some questions which weren’t obvious and he simply felt like I was annoying him. I waited 15 minutes for some fried chicken which I said I wanted the bone in chicken when I got home that was not what I got. And last but definitely not least I order a Quipe which had raw meat in it along with the empanada.

for Mangu/ tres golpes that is $10. I got barely any mangu in the container. Last time I’m ever ordering from here again, waste of $10. There’s other restaurants that give more portion of mangu than this. Bye .

don’t eat here! I ordered mangu con los tres golpes and ended up getting 4 with the strand of curly black hair I found in my food.

Food was delicious, I had mangu (mashed plantain) with red onions, fried eggs and fried queso blanco. Needles to say, is more like a brunch, big portions too. Their cafe con leche is the best and they also have fresh carrot and orange juice.

If I could give this place a negative number I would. I placed an order for delivery worth $42. They brought me plates that had very minimal food. Each plate was about $10 each, so I was expecting a graceful amount and received little to nothing. I called the restaurant and asked for a refund and they refused. I offered to give back their food for an equal refund and they still refused. The man on the phone started acting like he couldn’t hear me once I asked for a refund. The customer service of this place was absolutely ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING YOUR MONEY’S WORTH FROM THIS PLACE!!

At the first bite of the fried cheese, I had a feeling things were going downhill. Although the staff was pleasant, the quality of the food was not. The cheese I mentioned had been fried in old oil. I fact everything did not taste fresh at all. The fried “salchichón” had been fried in the same old oil, burnt to a crisp and hardly worth eating. The Mangu left much to be desired as well…mainly taste. I would question this is one of the “best” places to eat in the area. They get two stars for the service but not much else.

Great service and delicious food. Small neighborhood place, with traditional Dominican food.
