Thursday 8/24/2023 6pm. Not from the town and wanted to get a quick beer and a burger before a show at Cmac. The bartender male was definitely on drugs and couldn’t get anything right. Wrong beer, took forever for our food which I think he forgot to place for a bit. Your employees say allot about your place of business and this guy should of never been working. Never go back again!

Best place on the lake to go and have a drink and some good food and watch the sun set! This is the only bar I will go to! There’s a bouncer on the weekends, and he’s always been the best at keeping the place safe and keeping any minors out! There’s never any trouble at Jose’s, and if there was, Johnny is always dependable to get rid of it quickly and safely. Great service, great atmosphere, good food, even better drinks, and NOT too pricey!

Stopped in while on a ride for some quick food, the bar was practically empty and the bartender was inattentive. Took us 10 minutes to get her attention, and we asked to start with water and a food menu. She rolled her eyes and tapped a clipboard sitting on the bar and smirked at us without a word. We put in a food order, and we were asked if we wanted to start a tab, we said yes and handed over a card. We were present with a receipt with 4 beers that we did not order. It took another 10 minutes to get her attention as she ignored my “excuse me ma’am” multiple times. When she finally came over to us, we presented her with the issue and she told us she would void the transaction, she never came back over with an updated receipt. We waited another 20 minutes with no food ( a total of 40 minutes spent here now) I went in to ask for an updated receipt and she said, oh well I had to void the whole transaction so it hasn’t been paid for. We had sat at the bar waiting for her to come back with said receipt and she never did, nor did she tell us that we had to pay again, or that our food orders weren’t in. I paid in cash, another 30 minutes of waiting and we still have no food. I go inside to check on the food and apparently the kitchen has no record of our food that has been paid for twice at this point. The owner said the order was in with the kitchen now after almost 1 1/2 hours of waiting, and back and forth with a bartender who had no idea what she was doing, and lied to us multiple times. We ended up leaving after an additional 20 minutes and no food. Do not visit this place,

This is my 2nd review for this establishment. Unfortunately, I had to delete my 1st review in which I gave 5 stars. I’m giving 2 stars this time because on my 1st and last visits, they played ghetto, ratchet music. I’m sure because we are black. Both times, either no music was playing or white music was playing (which we didn’t mind). We didn’t go there for the music. Just somewhere to go. The people were nice and accommodating, but they took it too far. We don’t like the type of music they were playing. They could have just asked instead of assuming all black folk like that BS music…ijs

My friend took us to this place on the boat and it was so good. Of course who doesn’t like good food. Everyone was so friendly and of course everyone wanted me to talk. Say y’all come back ya hear….LOL you know the typical southern stuff, but we had fun.
