This is prob one of my top 3 places to eat. I used to be a weekly regular but not so much anymore. Despite the non familiar faces, I was treated and served promptly and respectfully. I absolutely love the corn meal, always get extra. Today I got the chicken avocado enchiladas and was not disappointed. The cream sauce was so savory and the chicken was melt in your mouth tender and juicy. Another fave of mine is the crab and shrimp enchiladas! I will say, the margarita I had was pretty awful… it’s a pre made margarita and it tasted dirty, I don’t know to explain that but it was just really gross. I don’t score off of that though, the food and service here is exceptional.

Waitress was not great.
1st she didn’t bring the hot salsa we ordered
2nd after got food never asked if it was good or if we needed anything. Filled our chips with out even saying anything.
3rd gave our ticket literally minutes after we got our food with still not even asking if we needed anything. Didn’t come back until I put card on table. But Def had time to go b outside and smoke or whatever she did. DO BETTER!

Delicious! Chips were light & crispy .Salsa was fresh. I had combo #3 enchiladas & taco. Staff were attentive & it was clean. 5 stars for sure. Just traveling wish Jose Peppers was in Wisconsin!

Outstanding food, staff and facility! We couldn’t have eaten at a better place while passing thru! Greeted by the pleasant female Manager as we entered, and our waitress was quite accommodating! Never had to ask for a refill on chips, salsa or drinks! She was ahead of our needs and quite impressive! The food was consistant with any other JP’s we’ve ever visited! The nachos were a “piece of art” and quite delicious! The salsa was fantastic, along with the facility cleanliness! Thank you for taking such great care of us!

We absolutely loved it here! Phenomenal wait staff and the food was a level above typical Mexican restaurants we have been too. There is just more depth to the flavors and each bite is a little different in a good way. The atmosphere is calming even though there are a lot of red tones. The chips and salsa are soooooo good! We were planning a trip back before we even left.

So if you look at the three photos that’s supposed to be 40 dollars worth of food. The most disappointing is the nachos 12 dollars and it doesn’t even cover the bottom of the to go dish. Then there was the fajita trio which was ok for one person but was led to believe it was big enough for two. I don’t know if its just because we ordered to go but, over all was disappointed. Despite the restaurant only being about 50% full they seemed to be understaffed even though it looked like there were quite a few people working there. There were a few people working really hard while others while moving around looked lost and really didn’t much of anything during the 40 min wait of my order.
