Adorable! Delicious! Fast! The only thing that took time was waiting in line because so many people wanted to eat breakfast here. We spent $30 for two for a 4 ingredient bowl and a pancake plate and two espresso drinks. The food was delicious (I liked the blueberry pancakes). The service was great! And the environment was adorable.

This place is very charming and cozy. Lots of seating, lots of shade outdoors. My iced latte was good. The blueberry sausage was great. Food was high quality but low quantity and a bit pricey. Staff was friendly.

Today is Easter Sunday and so thankful for this little cafe being open. Went horse back riding in the morning and we were so eager to eat and searched up a place to grab a quick bite. Walked in to a cute little cafe with artwork and self service type beat. Ordered a hazelnut irish cream iced coffee and i highly recommend the coffee, it’s delicious. We ordered the pancake platter (2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 3 pancakes), it was okay. The pancakes had no flavor and the texture was okay. We had to drench the pancakes in maple syrup, butter, cinnamon and salt and it was still not good enough. If i have to add all of this to pancakes it’s not a good stack. Eggs and bacon were very average. We also got the breakfast burrito with bacon, hash browns, eggs and spinach. Also very average. For all of this food it was around $26 which is very cheap honestly, so for the price of the food i’d say it was worth it but for taste wise not good enough for me. i definitely won’t be back for the food but a cute shop to hangout at.

Jo’s Cafe was busy, but the line moved quickly. The food came out before our specialty coffee drinks. They had several people cooking but the poor cashier had to take orders and make all the drinks. It seemed like a lot for one person. Once the drinks arrived though, they were worth the wait! I recommend the almond joy latte on ice!

Listening to birds sing and cicadas chirp while sipping on coffee. So relaxed. Love this place Great pit stop of cyclists!

My Rueben sandwich was quite good and my daughter and granddaughters enjoyed their late breakfast, the temperature in the modest size room was unacceptably hot. Yes, it was a noon on a hot summer day but, the a.c. had already fallen behind on its job. Not having brewed ice tea was an unhappy surprise, as well. One can get a variety of coffee offerings but, not iced tea. They have a problem with squatters holding tables while on their laptops as well.

Staff is friendship. Lovely atmosphere. The breakfast plate we had was horribly cooked sadly . How often could you have toast or bacon or, sunny side up made bad? Perhaps we ordered the wrong dish here since they have very high rating. Tea and coffee are average to us

This WAS the best coffee shop in san marcos. A true Cafe in the heart of town. I am partial to their seasonal drinks and the breakfast quesadilla. Recently they have changed their inside interior removing all of the cafe style wood chairs and tables and even the couch and coffee table and replaced them with ugly vintage diner booths. If i could give a negative on the atmosphere I would. My picture is from December my comments are from last week.
