So, JORGE’S…. let me tell you about this man and his restaurant. Legitimately has a heart of gold, BUT, in the old, and new space, he has always lacked consistency and flavor. We came in starving on a Taco Tuesday Night, to support our local Legacy Dance Studio. We asked for lots of chips and salsas. I love salsa roja and salsa verde. The first round of roja was spicy, jalepeno-y and tasted decent, good crunch on the chips, chips lacked salt all night. The second round of salsa roja was pure water. I tasted all 6 of our salsa bowls for my family of 6. Just in case. The verde had no spice at all. Typically I drink salsa verde because the heat and flavor are addicting. His tasted like a dulled down version of J-Tree. Disappointing. My kids and I had the tacos special with pastor, asada, and fajita chicken and my wife had the pulled chicken flautas. Chicken across the board. DRY and overcooked. Pastor was amazing, surprisingly. Mi amor, Carne asada, seemed boiled and sad. Instead of charred and well seasoned. My wife’s queso tasted store bought like it did 5+ years ago. I feel like he is going for a TexMex vibe, but with juggernauts like JTree and 2 Senoritas, it just wasn’t up to snuff. Not to mention the environment was almost a blank warehouse. The staff is amazing and so is he. I hope you give him a try and he makes some tweaks!

New location and service is so much better than it was at the old place. Only down side I found was no changing table for my baby in the bathrooms. Had to take my baby to the car to change. Other than that, fantastic service and food!

Everything was very good. The staff was very attentive and very pleasant. The food was served piping hot and everything was really good. The atmosphere of the restaurant bright and the floors, tables,and seats were clean. We kind of stumbled onto this place while traveling and we’re pleasantly surprised. We will be back whenever in the area.

The new place still has the same good food and service but it just doesn’t have the same atmosphere that it did before. White walls with no decor just doesn’t feel right. It doesn’t mean I won’t eat there it’s just that it’s a little dull.

Jorge’s claims ‘the best fajitas in town’ and we agree. I had the beef fajitas and they were really tender and well seasoned. Hope they do well as the restaurant is off the road and difficult to see in passing.

I liked the old building better. The lighting in this one is too bright and the music was a little too loud for a dining atmosphere. The server could’ve been better (not letting us run out of drinks), but she was nice. The food is bland so won’t be back, but Jorge is friendly.

My family of 4 went tonight and was seated as soon as we walked in and was given the chips and hot sauce. No waitress ever came back to us. There were two other groups of people that walked in and was also seated, they were soon served their drinks and asked what they would like to order. We waited over 20 minutes and I finally told someone we have not had a waitress. We waited 15 more minutes and was finally asked what we wanted to drink.. mean while there are only about 6 tables with other people and no more than 3 at each table. There were about 5 waitresses standing behind the counter on their phones chatting it up. We left before our drinks even came. We definitely will not be back.

Went for dinner – our 1st time in. Ordered the papussa dinner. The rice and beans had almost no flavor and the papussas had very little filling – mostly bread. Enchiladas needed salt. Not very good quality for a $40 meal. It was a let down unfortunately.

Asked the waitress 3 times for flour tortillas for my fajitas, 15 minutes later she brought them and I was already done eating my food, great tasting fajitas and white queso, I just wished they had fresh jalapenos
