Dinner at Jorgensens this evening was excellent. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The pork schnitzel was outstanding, Chang’s chicken was flavorful, and our son’s steak was gone almost immediately.
Our server, McKenzie, was attentive and welcoming, and the experience made for a truly lovely family dinner.
On a personal note, it was especially meaningful to see new life being breathed into Jorgensens. This place is very near and dear to my heart, as my father managed the hotel in the late 1980s. Cheers to a bright future and to many more family meals at Jorgensens. Thank you.

This was last weekend. Walk-in and we were seated almost right away. Hostess was right on it and said our server would be with us shortly. Table was a little cramped but doable. Waitress shows up fairly timely to get our drinks. When she finally returned with our drinks the first words out of her mouth were the beginning of a very horrible service experience. She informed us that we were in line even to place our order. Waited a good 20 to 25 minutes before she even looked at us again. No coffee refill or even a word. Yet staff around her were Copperline efficiency. Sweetie pie had the cornedbeef and I had the chicken fried steak. Breakfast. Asked for brown gravy and asked for it over everything. It was another 40 minutes for food. Watching outside her area patrons were being treated timely and without excuses. So much so kitchen staff and extra servers were getting food onto the tables. Then watching excuses for everything in action she wasn’t putting in the orders after taking them. And then when at the kiosk she took forever. Numerous tables in her area left. Some just sat as we did. She blamed her fellow staff, that they were still working out the kinks, and that they were overwhelmed. The food was brought out hot and delicious by another staff member. She complained about his service because he forgot to bring me a steak knife . The only reason she was able to complain or bring me the knife was because of his help. He also got her tip. We didn’t wait past 15 minutes for the check and approached the counter to pay. Didn’t even have the check yet. Another horrible experience full of excuses. The only complaint about the food was that I didn’t get the gravy over everything and I’m sure that wasn’t the kitchens fault. I didn’t complain because I didn’t want another excuse. I have no doubt that had we been seated in another servers section our experience would have been as amazing as some of the other reviews I’m seeing. We have always enjoyed Copperline and will continue to do so . But we will not allow this excuse to serve us again.
